Held Sac to 38.4% shooting and 15% from 3pt range
53-49 rebounding edge and 9 blocked shots

Maybe we should go after Garnett in the off-season and take Marion off of Dallas' hands for a future 1st round draft pick and cash.

Nash/???
Dudley/Rookie
Hill/Marion
Garnett/Morris
Gortat/Frye

Dallas is goimg after Dwill and DHoward this summer. They would give us marion for the space.

Sorry I wasn't very clear there. Yes Dallas would dump Marion in our laps, plus give us cash and a 1st rounder or two (ala Kurt Thomas)

Now to draft that key role player to help make the team stay the way they are. :-)

Yes, exactly. Wish I could enjoy these wins more - I would honestly rather be losing with a core of young talent than this treading water business. This will eb year that should be expunged form the history books

You know, that's a thought worth thinking through - put together a last-chance roster of vets - although KG and marion already have rings.

But - a long time ago the Redskins did something like that

If you want a veteran roster for a last chance you have to sign Ray Allen! A Nash-Allen backcourt would be insane.

Kid is tough and still learning. If he works hard on finishing and developing a decent post game while polishing the rest of his game hes going to be solid in a couple years. Lets not forget this year training camp was basically nothing and pre-season was shortened not to mention that big men take time to develop and he has had just half of 1 shortened season under his belt and he wasnt getting alot of minutes in our first few weeks of the season.

Remember when Amare worked hard on his jumper then came back and was the ultimate offensive threat? Morris already has a much better outside shot he just needs time to develop the rest. Talk about impatient even the god of all basketball gods Michael Jordan wasnt a dominant player his rookie year but he worked hard. Give the kid some time jesus.

2 years down the line he and Dudley could be the anchors of a pretty damned good bench.

So? Kyrie Irving didn't have a training camp either yet he's playing pretty solid basketball. Rubio didn't have one either. Marshon Brooks, Isiah Thomas, Kemba, Faried etc didn't have it yet their performing at a different level than Morris.

And I'm not saying he's a bust or anything, but he needs to get his s*** together.

When I say Morris has potential what I mean is that he isnt near his ceiling in my opinion. That doesnt mean hes going to be as good or better than any of the players you mentioned-thats why I said he would be a greatcoming off the bench with Dudley. If you thought I meant he would be a franchise player or something like that then let me clear that up right now because he isnt.

I just see toughness and a knack for rebounding with a decent outside shot atm. If he doesnt develop then yes he is just a scrub but something tells me hes going to put in the work and the time and improve his game. And toughness is something you cant teach.
