I know you're thinking "Don't be cocky." I'm thinking the Heat lost some of their swagger. Teams are coming hard at them early on, and that is not acceptable.

Time for the Heat to remind the opposition who they are, and what they do (Win)

- Chris Bosh upon hearing Juwan Howard and Dexter Pittman played key minutes during his absence.

Coming off another poor west coast roadtrip, your MIAMI HEAT return from smog filled Los Angeles...
Image
(I live there and yes the air does look like that at times)

To the clear skies of the Magic City...

And now, the starting line-up's for both teams -

State of the Heat:
- So we lost 2 in a row on the road without one of our best players. It sucks but is not a big deal.

- These losses have however exposed two fairly important things...
1.) I'm swallowing my pride and admitting that I was wrong for cursing Ira Winderman on twitter early in the season for suggesting we need a veteran PG (This was back when Rio/Cole were playing extremely well). Norris Cole might have hit the rookie wall at full speed. And that is one fast guy.

2.) We desperately need another big man. Somebody that can keep Juwan in a tuxedo, and Pittman in his warm-up's.

- If Bosh is not back Howard & Pittman MUST NOT PLAY outside of garbage time or else heads will roll...

Quotable:
Ethan J. Skolnick ‏ @EthanJSkolnick
Haslem not thrilled with postgame questioning: "I'm tired of talking about my shooting."

UD, you're one of my favorite players ever but I think I can vouch for all HEAT fans when I say we're not "thrilled" by you bricking jumpers.

STOP. MISSING. OPEN. SHOTS. :curse:

It's time to get back on track. The past two games were frustrating losses after our dominant winning streak. Let's crush them from the first minute on and remember the basketball world that we are the best and most dominant team right now!

Even if Wade is still out of it mentally we should win. UD is making Joel look good on offense...

Haslem can get mad about the questions, but it's at the forefront of every fan's mind. Why is his shot so bad this season? He missed that game-winner badly on Friday. I mean, he's wide-open and missing a straight-on shot that bad? Wow!

I agree with limiting Pittman's minutes, but not if it means more Juwan. That was a disaster yesterday. Juwan played the worst 9 minutes of basketball anyone has this season. I dare anyone to find a worse use of 9 minutes of playtime. Awful, just awful. He shouldn't dress. It's comical that he dresses ahead of Gladness. Gladness and Curry can both do better.

On that note, Haberstroh thinks Eddy has an injury and the Heat aren't saying. He thinks that's the only explanation why Juwan got minutes yesterday and Curry didn't.

Please come back, Bosh. This reminds me of when he went down with the ankle last season and we looked like hot garbage. We look the worst without him. We are just so damn thin up front.

I expect a big win here. I think there's just something about those west coast trips and this team. PEACE.

Yeah you can really tell the wheel turns very awkwardly offensively and defensively without Bosh. He's also a great player to lead the bench players for significant minutes.

It's clear how important he is to the team.

I'm still annoyed by Howard, so I'll continue the bashing here...

He went 0-5 vs. the Lakers, and had his shot blocked 3 times in 9 minutes. Despite this, I believe he ended up with the only + in the +/- column on our team - recording a +1. Just goes to show how deceptive that stat can be at times.

Edit:
This made me LOL

lol in the realgm wiretap, Heat trying to find a big man.... man it's more worse than I thought. Pittman just.... I can't believe this guy. Like someone else said, just a fat guy we picked up in the 2nd round. Can't even finish. We have 4 bigs that can't finish around the rim, including Haslem. How sad is that? Juwan, Joel, UD, and Pittman... HELL EVEN CURRY. FIVE!!!

whatever man, just get this win at home.... Deron has been ballin' lately, and the Nets have been playing better. Brook Lopez too.

Kris Humphries I actually don't think is a bad player... rebounds well enough.

Nets chuck up 3's and if we fool around, it's a loss lol.

IS BOSH GOING TO BE BACK? And is Wade going to be out?

Saw somebody say "if Wade plays". He apparently got those migraines back during the Laker game.

He said he suffered from a headache which could potentially lead to a migraine. So far, we haven't heard anything in that regard though.

WITH OR WITHOUT CHRIS BOSH ... Dwyane Wade and LeBron James better beat the Nets especially with Brook Lopez being out for 3 weeks.
