3 players drafted, ZERO shooter/offense or post-player.

It's very interesting because he's still getting killed by the boo-birds.

Can this organization seriously keep a player the fans absolutely despise?

Just because we could have have Kawhi and Faried doesn't mean EG sucks and failed... oh wait. Yes, yes it does.

And that's about as big of an indictment as is humanly possible.

EG drafted both of those dudes and still has his job. :-?

I don't think EG was wrong to draft Singleton -- he was universally praised for the pick (including having this forum's backing).

This team needed wing defenders and he can certainly be an effective on. He just needs to spend all off-season working on his jumpshot. For a late 1st rounder, he's not the worst.

I blame EG for the Vesely pick which I hated from day 1.

Singleton never had my backing. I thought he couldn't shoot a lick and I also thought he was neither a rebounder or a scorer. To pass a player like you know who for Singleton was a travesty. Same with Brooks.

Nice tanking by Wittman the last 1:27.

Wall makes a couple FTs. Wall is subbed out with both Curry and Ellis on the floor. Shelvin got a rebound and an assist to Mason, but at the end Curry killed them to put the lead from 13 to 18,

Ball game right there. Might have been a game if the Wizards get to within 11.

Just because there were other viable options doesn't mean it wasn't a good pick at the time. We needed defensive help and Singleton was arguably the best perimeter defender in the NCAA.

Wasn't Mack a scorer in college?

Where the hell did that go?

Not exactly. There were some here that weren't interested in Singleton. I wanted a scorer. I know CCJ wanted Faried.

Never said there weren't individuals who didn't like it.

But you can't possibly argue that a very healthy majority on this board absolutely loved the pick. I'd say a good 90% of our posters.

miller, I thought Singleton was a HORRIBLE pick at the time because Vesely appeared to be the very same self-check, bean pole, SF, as he has turned out to be even on draft day. Why draft two guys who cannot shoot or rebound when you need a shooter and a rebounder?

I knew Singleton was a bad pick.

I wouldn't have been upset with Singleton and somebody else, like Faried or Brooks, even though I didn't like Singleton. The really dumb thing was to draft two guys at the same spot who have the same (non) skill sets.

Dray is effected by the boos but so what. That just tells me you dont have heart. Go & beast and tell the crowd to stick there boos up there butt. Its just being mentally weak. I usually dont like when the crowd does that to players and I even didnt think it was right early with Dray but that was a long time ago. Since then he's deserved it and more.

I was totally shocked that he came back at home though. I would think he would want to start on the road but I guess he saw 2 easier teams to come back against. Its backfired on him

Trivia Question....

When was the last time JaVale McGee got an offensive rebound and willingly passed it back out?

I'll provide the answer in a second.
