The funny thing is, for the past 2-3 games, Ellis is proving those of us that want him even at the cost of Ryan right. and Ryan is also proving us right. I know it's just a few games, but still....

So? how did our guards do against the Wizards? not 25 points on 16 shots and 8 assists with 5 rebounds good, I can tell you that....

Feeling like we're back to the most conservative deals now. Backup PG which seems to be a concern to no one within the organization or coaching staff, a backup C, and maybe defensive wing.

Ramon Sessions and Jason Thompson please.

Edit: Which defensive wing is out there BTW?

We'll have to see if the Lakers bite on Felton, that might leave Sessions available for us. Lakers might also try for Ridnour Beasley.

since i doubt we make a big splash (nash, ellis, etc) we need a back up point guard ( or a starting one)..that would be the most realistic option to make, defensive wing is not my top priority, i don't see us getting sessions and thompson, we might only fill one need with our limited options

Asked Larry Coon about the Magic's idea to keep Dwight, suck in 2012, and enter 2013 with cap space to hit free agents.

"If they're going to gather cap space, then why not gather more space & augment with good draft picks?"

Isn't that the NJ trade? He seems to think Dwight is getting moved to NJ.

-you know, they would come home and lay the nets trade, or the lakers trade, or letting him walk in free agency on the table and say choose.

-well i'd have to go with the nets trade there vanna

-nah i'd go with the let him walk

-why the wrench?

-because f*ck them, that's why

If the Magic can't get a commit from Dwight and they have the chance to move him to NJ, I hope they do. I'm not even sure I'm worried about getting another significant player outside the Lopez/Brooks/Okur deal. I would go for Humphries for BBD though. Then hope Otis doesn't blow out 2012 cap space on 4 year deals that kills us in 2013.

Why aren't we trying to pry Lou Williams away from Philly? That's about as realistic as getting Monta at this point.
