That's unfair to say. I thought he had a solid game. When Faried was on Reke in OT, he forced him to be a jumpshooter. He looked bad at doing that. But the Nuggets, for some reason, put Harrington on Reke, the very first thing Reke did was to take it to the hole and scored.

If anything, the Kings let the Nuggets comeback in the late fourth quarter and Thornton committed a stupid foul that lead the game to OT.

Man that was a tough loss. I thought Tyreke played well for the most part. He shot 50% and only had 4 turnovers in an overtime game. That's decent for him. Our execution in the 4th and OT was just awful.

I think part of this was because of how poorly Cousins was playing. He had a really bad game. Couldn't hold onto the ball or do very much effectively. To be fair it's hard to run an offense when your bigs aren't doing anything in the post.

Thornton was lights out and played great except for that foul at the end.

I hope Whiteside gets more run after this game. I'd rather see Hassan at the 4/5 than Donte at the 4. Donte needs time at the 3 not 4.

The problem isn't so much Tyreke per se, it's Tyreke being the decision maker.

Mt- he scored well but that stupid foul cost us the game

Reke- had an ok game but had some questionable plays as well.. When you are already doing well by slashing pls dont even think you can already hit a jumshot and try being the hero!

Cuz- ugly game from him! It looked liked he didn't want to play in that game.. He didn't hustle and for the most part didn't want to defend..

I.t - hasn't been the same since being awarded that west rookie of the month or week award.. Didn't do much in this game..

Bench- i liked how they played!

Hassan- nice to see him get some quality playing time! He still gets lost but i liked the shotblocking presence that he had... He might have earned himself a playing time for the next game as well...

On the bright side, more losses = more ping pong balls.

And at this point there's a small part of me that thinks more losses could lead to a player shakeup that this team really needs. Trade Evans while his value is still high.

It was worth it if for nothing more than to see Hassan get some time!!! Played pretty well too. Showed he can contribute even if he has flaws, who gives a **** about those flaws, he can help every game.

Honestly, don't want to sound like I'm bagging on coach man again, but I will! Inconsistent rotation managements leads to late game failure. No team can go 10 deep at any given point, and expect any of those 10 to carry you to victory with your starting 5 hardly has anything more than a pick and roll down. Any time we've seen this team compete this season, it's been on talent almost solely. Thornton stepping up, or Reke stepping up, or Cousins. Shouldn't have to be that way. Mismatched roster? Maybe. But that doesn't mean you don't start playing the best rotation you can, and especially let matchups dictate your rotation almost every game. As they say, DO YOU. Not on a team this young still needing to develop. It's pretty much the same thing Westphal did and it did nothing but stunt the kind of TEAM growth you need to succeed. You'll never form a team identity this way.

Don't think this is at all on Reke personally. It's hard for him to "move the ball" when there's nobody there to move it to. When he had the ball it was like Cousins earlier in the year, just on an island by himself. Guys just stood around watching, waiting for him to do something.

Particularly in the first quarter, I saw a lot of Evans passes were botched due to missing open shots.

And Cousins really did it to himself when he picked up 2 quick fouls. He literally sat out the whole first half. He never gotten into rhythm nor a factor all night.

Actually last night's game made me feel as if we should really keep Evans. We just need to get the ball out of his hands a la stop playing him at point! The reason we lost this game because Smart froze Demarcus out of the game and went to JOHN SALMONS down the stretch.

Jimmer really needs to keep his head in the game and improve his ball handling skills.
