Thoughts? I find this pretty funny - but maybe he has a point? I just dont; see this bench being trustworthy enough to give any more time to -

Recently the bench has actually been pretty dependable.

I can actually stand Brown somewhat, even though his chucking still pisses me off...but Telfail? No, I can't stand seeing him coming in and running the offense like someone who is taking muscle relaxers, antipsychotics, and is drunk,

I mean, Ramon Sessions is just being thrown out there and looks like Cleveland isn't selling him for much, but we still throw Telfail out there even though he is terrible.

Ramon Sessions has been putting up some good numbers on a pretty bad Cleveland team backing up Kyrie, maybe he excels in our system and becomes that future PG that we will need in a year or two. Better him than investing in Aaron "China" Brooks

I discuss the bench in a recent article. Here are a couple of stats from that:
The 2010 success was intimately linked to what we were able to do when Nash sat. The 2nd unit's effectiveness has plummeted since:
+2.55 -- 2009-2010
-10.18 -- 2010-2011
-11.58 -- 2011-2012

Without Nash in 2009-2010, the offense scored 110.85 points per 100 possessions. This year, the Suns are scoring 96.40 points per 100 possessions when Nash sits.

The solution? Bring back Loooouuuu!!!

I don't know if it would be a solution, but it would be a step in the right direction. If we did that, I would switch Hill with Chilldress, or make rotation adjustments to allow Hill to run the second unit, and for Chilldress and Lou to spend the bulk of their minutes in different units. However, if we could find someone shooting 40+% from three, I could see both Chilldress and Lou together, getting tons of extra shots for that guy.

"When we struggle offensively is when we get scored on defensively. When we come down and run set plays every time, that doesn't work for the second unit as well as the starters. The key for us is coming out with energy on defense and getting out in transition. That's how the ball is going to get moved. Half-court hasn't worked the first half of the season, and I don't think it's going to work in the second half. Defense is the key."--- Sebastian Telfair

I wholeheartedly agree. The half court stuff wasnt working, and it looks like I was wrong to blame Telfair for walking the ball up the court on a "Sunday Morning Stroll"

In the 2nd quarter against the Kings, the bench did just that. Telfair walked up the court, and they tried to execute half court plays. That is where we failed. But, in the last quarter, Telfair ran the ball up more. Sometimes even Brown lead the transition offence. That is what I want to see..... ENERGY from the second unit.

Hopefully we can put our struggles behind us and let the bench play with more freedom.

Now, you know I enjoy reading your posts but do you have any stats other than the ones you've been posting time and time again for the past 2-3 seasons that really only say we need a to bring back Lou?

Honestly, absolutely no offense intended, i just wanted to know if there are other stats that doesn't just show that we need to obviously go back to the glory days?
