Can someone post a sumary.

I doubt we are in any real talks to make a move. But im sure we are talking.

We probably sign a min player like Butler last year.

Q: Any guy on trade market we could get?

A: Houston looking to move Lee. Rockets will make a deal of some kind. Bucher says they need a Deng or Rip to exploit their matchup when LBJ, Iggy, etc are on Rose. Bucher thought JRich had more left in the tank than Rip. Says we gotta talk about what'd we have to give up. Bulls have great chemistry and it's something to be giving up CJ, or Brewer. Bucher doesn't see any obvious move we can make unless Lee is that guy.

Q: OJ Available?

A: He is. But what are you giving up to get him? Will want one of their bigs. Would want Asik. Bucher says the one weakness the Heat have is Miami's front line. Losing Omer in last year's series was a pivotal loss. Dominating inside and rebounding -- that is the Heat's achilles Heel, more so than having another guy on the perimeter. In January (last game) -- Heat were unable to contain Rose like the playoff series. Rose was still able to get to his spot on the floor. If Bulls can rebound and dominate the inside, would gamble with Rose than weaken the front line to go for a random SG.

Q: Stephen Jackson

A: I would love that fit and do that in a heartbeat. Especially if you have to give up nothing. Can defend LBJ and make big shots. Doesn't hesitate. A great name to throw out there.

Q: Grant Hill -- can he and would he be traded?

A: Has not heard of him being on the 'block'. Not sure if he spaces the floor enough for Chicago.

Q: Monta Ellis

A: Hesitant to make a trade than giving it one last try. Says we were not healthy last year. We are mentally tougher than Miami. Try to stay healthy and let our mental toughness take over.

Q: Will D12 be dealt?

A: I have to believe so. Do not believe he has any intent to stay in ORL. Will go somewhere.

The real question is does he think the Bulls will do whatever to keep Asik this summer? Otherwise moving him makes sense if we can get another big back.

I dont see how we can make a trade for S-jax without killing everything. He is having a horrible season but I would still take him if we didnt give up anything legit.

K.C Johnson
I know Omer has regressed this season but trading big for small---especially when small isn't slam dunk fit---rarely recipie for success.

K.C Johnson
Jamal fits. I think SJax would work in new environment. Don't know what those teams would want/take from #Bulls.

We don't have the contracts to make it worth without giving up a key role player.

Stephen Jackson makes way too much money. It would take Korver and Brewer to get a deal done. No thanks. I'm interested in Courtney Lee. I'd be willing to give up Asik for him, then sign a backup big via FA.

Bulls are better off doing nothing but sign free agents. Bulls need all their bigs period.

I love the idea of Stephen Jackson, but it just doesn't work from a salary-matching perspective. I'd give up Omer for Courtney Lee so long as there was a decent backup center out there we could sign. This is where Pryzbilla signing with Portland hurts us - less flexibility to make trades. What if we did Brewer or Korver + Omer for C. Lee and Dalembert?

I'm not interested in Lee. He's not much of a shot-creator. His D is solid, but offense leaves much to be desired. Seems like he'd be a spot-up shooter in our system. Very Brewer like, with more range.

I don't think we are good trade partners with anyone. I don't think any move will be made. The Bulls made the wrong move this summer. We've lacked a SG since Gordon left, and they didn't want to offer JRich the full MLE (IIRC), and Crawford (the years). IMO, Rip, while when healthy, is a solid player, just wasn't the fit IMO. And with this injury, no team is going to gift a SG away to us.

Yeah Lee isn't much of a creator. He can do it a little bit, he's not Kyle Korver or Ronnie Brewer in that sense, he can dribble some and attack the basket. There really aren't any perfect scenarios that I see out there but Courtney Lee might be the best option out of them all. He'll atleast give you 10-12 ppg, shoot 38-40% from 3, and play solid defense. He's a poor mans Aaron Afflalo IMO.

Yeah I think the only way we get S-Jax is for him to get bought out. We can't trade for him, or really anybody on a non rookie contract right now, without really disrupting the team we have.

I think Courtney Lee may be our guy. I don't know that Houston wants to pay him that next contract: I'm not sure what their longterm plan looks like, but they make take rolling him over into future assets.
Ideally, some future 1sts and some cash, but I don't know if that would be enough. Giving up Jimmy Butler too? I wouldn't want to, but of all the guys we've got he's the most expendable.

With Rip out, you really need Korver and Brewer. Kind of a tough spot.

What is SJax contract situation? Any chance the Bucks buy him out? That is the only way I see him ending up with the Bulls at the vet minimum.

the bucks are traditionally not a team that buys guys out. they aren't one of the teams rolling in money and while it's obvious they would want to get rid of capt. jack, they'll look to do it via trade, not in a buyout which nets them absolutely nothing.
