Just back from the game. Nice win! :D

My mom and I had the best conversation ever. We talked about everything Heat-related...except the game. By the time we looked at the score, we were up 30 points already.

I love these low-key blowouts. The last one I attended was against the Pacers earlier this season. Good performance once the defense started making plays. The opening minutes were hard to watch, but this turned out nicely.

Standouts were Bosh being back, Pittman doing work in the pit, and Cole loving his shot another game. Good win! PEACE.

Wow, we didn't score a fastbreak point til the 4th quarter. :o

So much for "beating the Heat is to stop their fastbreaks... and limit TO's". NJ did just that... but their offense sucked and our defense was too much for them.

Then again, it's the Net's. But still, surprised about the fast break points lol.

How much better do you think the Nets are if they acquire D12?

Top3 in the east if they keep Brook. They could be starting DWill/Morrow/Marswag/Brook/Dwight. That is a pretty sick starting 5. All under 30 IIRC, and with enough picks and cap room to build a solid bench. The Nets are gonna have the last laugh. Prok is moving a juggernaut into Brooklyn, while the Knicks traded half their team to get a bum Melo. PEACE.

Whats the update on wade foot?

Just out of curiosity, have the Nets discussed a name change before moving to Brooklyn? I would love to see them as the Brooklyn Dodgers.

Well you know how the Heat were wearing the ABA team's "Miami Floridian" jerseys? The Nets were wearing the New York American's ABA jerseys. OR the New York Nets jerseys... not sure lol. It would make sense both wearing the ABA jerseys.

Wade I think is okay, he stayed out for precautions.

Not only is that the baseball team and a team in LA right now, I don't think that's happening. I just read up on some history, and the Nets had their name be the Nets because of the Jets... and the Mets  Not sure if they'll change their name. I think they could come up with something better than the Nets though.

Mets, Nets, Jets. The trifecta of crappy NY teams

Eric Reid said at the beginning of the game that it was the New York Nets jerseys.

Not sure why that should be the determining factor for using the Dodger name. New York had 2 teams named the Giants way back when and the Dodger name belonged to Brooklyn first so I don't see why they couldn't change their basketball franchise name to the Dodgers. I definitely believe that would be a huge boost to their merchandise sales as well and i'm sure the people of Brooklyn would love it.

we played well and they didnt. what I liked the most is that we used our bigs early and not just in garbage time. Pittman got minutes and actually got touches to score. <--- This is what we should have been doing since thes tart and need to continue doing. The bench is not going to teach him we have to give him minutes boom or bust and commit to giving our bigs a shot.
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

Just watched the game, or the first half, on my League Pass. It was a pretty boring game, the Nets suck, I'm just glad our guys were able to rest a ton on the first night of a back-to-back.

I don't like games like these. In fact, I hate them. We need more close games, we need to practice playing big in the 4th, grinding it out, shooting gamewinners.

The problem is we're playing so good against most teams, the game is mostly a done deal by the 4th Q. We all know that is hardly ever the case in the playoffs, and practice makes perfect.

At least these type of games are the ideal time to buff the confidence of some roleplayers, or even starters.

HUH ?

If they get Dwight, they have absolutely no need for Lopez (who's overrated anyway). Lopez would just get in Dwight's way in the paint. He's a below average rebounder for his size, he's not fast enough to play the PF (not against Amare or Bosh anyway) and AFAIK he doesn't have the range to space the floor for Dwight on offense.

If they get Dwight without giving up Lopez, they need to trade Lopez for a decent swingman.
