Game 37: Cavs at Nuggets | Wed, Mar 7th | 9:00 PM ET

Post#1 » by Rise Against » Wed Mar 7, 2012 9:12 am

Cavs are giving up over 100 PPG in their 6 game losing streak.. And we all know that Denver is an uptempo and offensive minded team who can get there easily. Looks like another loss to me, especially if Jamison, Casspi, Parker, and Hollins are playing.. Also with how poorly Thompson has been looking lately.

Cavs still have the 8th worst record in the league. The Raptors, Kings, Pistons, and Nets are actually not too far away from jumping ahead of the Cavs in the standings. If the Cavs keep playing as badly as they have been recently, they could potentially have the 4th worst record. In other words, a better chance for a top 5 pick in the draft..

Tough road game and we'll get completely crushed on the boards. We were actually the second best rebound team in the whole league with Andy in the team but now we always lose that battle.

Byron was pretty mad about the last game so it will be interesting to see how we approach this game.

Need a win soon though to break it up so the players aren't getting too depressed. A win tonight over a decent team that we aren't competing with for a pick would be nice.

Tristan Thompson has been passing much better recently. He only had like 4 assists at the part way point of the season but over the last 6 or 7 games hes averaging an assist a game.

Wow did Kyrie come up big or what?! He looked very passive in the first half but looked great in the latter part. He's such a great finisher around the rim.

Jamison had another big scoring game, but this team really lack bigs.

Do we draft a big or a SG/SF with our lottery pick?

@Windhorst twitter (yea he's still watching the cavs) "Kyrie Irving has played 33 games. He's won 3 of them with late game-winners. He turns 20 in 2 weeks."

Damn this outstanding play by Irving. I was really counting on a top 4 pick but he just won't let us suck enough.

At least the other bad teams are winning tonight.

All we need now is the Kings to win and we are still sitting pretty.

We got to trade Jamison. There has to be a contender that would take him.

The Raps, Nets, and Kings won today. The Pistons won yesterday. So we are still in good shape for a top 4 pick.. But man, Kyrie is just awesome. Already had 3 game winners. Should be a lock for ROY.
