Cleveland Cavaliers receive:
SF Moe Harkless ($473,604)

San Antonio Spurs receive:
PF Jordan Williams ($762,195)
2014 2nd RND (Cleveland)

Cavs agree. We had a bit of a logjam at PF and gives us a nice prospect in Harkless to develop.

PHI and CHI have a trade to announce.

PHI outgoing:
Andrew Bynum $16,100,000
Danny Granger $13,058,606
Kirk Hinich $3,500,000
Brandon Jennings $3,179,493
2013 LAL 1st
2013 CHA 1st (CHI has the other protection so it's a full unprotected 1st)

total: $35,838,099

CHI outgoing:
D. Rose $15,506,632
G. Wallace $18,000,000
Rudy Fernandez $3,500,000
total: $37,006,632

We get a top 5 player and the best PG in the league here, we have been after him all game. Wallace makes a lot of money but he can defend and play the Deng role on our team. Great dealing!

Chicago accepts. Our previous GM (evil mtamasi) has been fired for the Gerald Wallace signing. good mtamasi will be taking his place til the end of the game. at least Ice can't pester us for Rose anymore...

Indiana and New Jersey have agreed a trade.

Indiana send:

Nick Young - $6,500,000
Tyler Hansbrough - $3,055,259
$1m cash

New Jersey send:

JJ Redick - $6,190,000
Gustavo Ayon - $1,500,000

Deal works easily within 150% rule

Why for Indy? We like JJ Redick's shooting next to Rondo.
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.

LA Lakers and Toronto have agreed a trade

LA Lakers send:

Marco Belinelli - $2,500,000
Sac 2013 1st (top 13 protected)
New Jersey 2013 1st

Toronto send:

Nick Collison - $2,929,332

Why for LAL? We pay way too much but desperately need a PF. Also, I love Nick Collison, so let's big him up a little:

BIG EDDIE wrote:Im a huge fan of all the Nick Collisons, who ever played this game.
Nick "Metal Knee" Collison is a very hard-working, very smart and very skilled player, who knows how to use his skills.
He is certainly the heart and soul (or one of them) of the Thunder.
I wish he retires as a Thunder.

Rapcity_11 wrote:The guy is heavily underrated. Easily one of the best role-players in the league. Such a high IQ guy, appears to be a great leader and teammate, good contributor at both ends of the floor.

Clangus wrote:As a Thunder fan, all i can say is Collison is fantastic on defense. Especially help defense. He regularily ranks in the top of Charges drawn. His rotations are always good and he doesn't make stupid fouls.

On offense, he sets good screens, moves into the open spaces and hits layups and some jump shots. I for one was estatic when Presti signed him to that genius contract. I dont know how the APM game plays out, but Collison is a very valuable basketball player for the Thunder.

New Jersey accepts - We like Nick Young's scoring next to Curry's Spot up shooting. We believe he is a more "instant Offense" option than Redick. The inducement was to acquire Tyler Hansbrough who we really like. Brings great energy and will be very productive at this level as he learns the game. Ayon has been a remarkable find, but at 28, he has reached his peak and we feel Psycho T will continue to develop. Also needed the cash. Great Dealing Luke!

Toronto accepts. Nick Collison is one of my favorite players, but, as Luke said, he overpaid - knowing, of course, that future picks don't count for much in this game. Still can't pass up what look to me like a lottery pick and a mid first rounder.

TRADE #262

Cleveland Cavaliers receive:
SF Harrison Barnes ($4,602,720)
PF Thaddeus Young ($8,039,130)
2013 1st RND (Portland)
2015 1st RND (Dallas)
TOTAL: $12,641,850

Dallas Mavericks receive:
PF Amare Stoudemire ($19,948,799)
SF Reggie Williams ($2,612,500)
TOTAL: $22,561,299

Cavs accept. Parting with Amare was hard, but there's just too much value to pass up here and how could we not love a core of Irving, Barnes, Young, and Drummond for the next 5 years. Salaries work as Dallas has the cap room to absorb the difference.

Trade #263 or #264 depending on what happens with that last trade

Portland Send -
Chris Anderson 2,330,000 || 2,299,000 || 2,402,455 ||2,510,565 (Player Option)
Kris Humphries 8,400,000 || 8,400,000 || 8,400,000 || 8,400,000 (Player Option)
Total - 10,730,000

Houston Rockets Send -
Samuel Dalembert $6,698,565
Dominique Jones $1,276,560 / $2,299,085 (TO)
Total - 7,975,125 x 1.5 = 11,962,688

Thanks for the deal, getting a center is terrible hard. I don't like this deal value wise but Dalembert is a pretty darn nice fit next to Lamarcus Aldridge, and we get closer to the final product of what we want our team too look like.

Houston accepts. We hated this deal. Both teams hated this deal. Someone start talkin me into 4 years of Humphreys fast. There will be no press conference, just a memo signed by the assistant GM, distributed to those members of the media already around the team complex. Questions about the deal are directed to the team's VP of operations voicemail box.
