Washington gets almost all of its scoring on the perimeter. Last night, Detroit beat LAL with Rodney Stuckey having a huge, huge game. It didn't matter that Bynum went over 30 and Pau had 20, and both guys had double doubles. They still lost.
Young legs will probably win today. Unlike GS, there are no guards the Wizards can't keep in front of them. Also, Nick Young has by far over his career played his best games against the Lakers. Between him, Wall, and Crawford; the Lakers are going to let one or more of those guys go off.
I won't be disappointed with any loss, beat down or otherwise, for the sake of tanking.
I just expect the Wizards will win this game. LAL struggles to exceed 100 points and I think they're going to need at least 105. The Wizards are just going to run guys like Booker and Vesely at C, and LAL won't match up. Just like with Detroit, the Lakers will probably lose is my prediction.

No matter. He'll be back. Great win, and great bump in Nick's trade value.

He displayed poor body language from the beginning. I surmised it was a combination of being frustrated by all the Lakers fans in the building as well as buying into all the knucklehead teammates progaganda swirling this team. I caught him literally smacking his head after Nick made a mistake on the court.
I understand the frustration, and some of his teammates may indeed be idiots but that is no way to carry himself.

Ernie seems to have missed this draft with Ves and Singleton, but with Booker EG hit it deep. That guy kicks butt and takes names. Seraphin is way better this season, and I think we need to see more and more minutes from him. I'll give EG that much, he drafted a couple beasts.
The Wizards could probably look pretty decent most nights running Wall, Mason, Young, Booker, Seraphin.
Footnote: Jordan Crawford's 6-19 FG is bad but if you consider Kobe went 9-31, I'll take it. Nick Young's 7-19 wasn't great but he had IIRC a career-best 6 assists. NY also had 2 steals and a block. Anytime you get 11 assist between JC and NY, that's probably a win.
