One of tfc's guys was taken out cause he was bleeding, and was ready to come back in and the refs weren't letting him on for no good reason putting tfc at a significant disadvantage as he is a defender.

See, as someone not familiar with the game, this is a simple place where it can be improved with a set rule as I mentioned before. Sure if the ball goes out of bounds (even on purpose) the flow on O gets disrupted, but then both teams can substitute at that time. Not allowing a sub when the O team kicks it away is, well, mystifying...

Oh DAMN IT!

That's what happens when you so loosely give away possession time and time again.

Becks all fired up.

I wonder how much extra time there will be?

I noticed this, too. A lot of missed opportunities for us to get the ball out, and eventually it cost us...

Yea that sucks. At the risk of sounding painfully obvious, they really can't give up another one.

I hate how Winter always tries to bunker with the lead, it rarely works. Keep attacking, keep possession and force them to close out on you.

Tired of these sit back with the lead and get scored on, over and over.

When you have possession and you're up with 10 minutes left, make your opposition chase you for the ball and just play it simple. Too many marauding runs across the halfway line and long shots when they weren't necessary. Keep the ball, make the simple pass and make them chase you.

They don't have anything working in midfield. No short passing, just trying to go for the long ball.

Beckham firing back at TFC fans after that goal.... just like when Thierry Henry taunted the TFC fans last summer after scoring that goal!
"Yes they deserved to die, and i hope they burn in hell!"

These calls in the second half were pretty bad...I hate when the officials end up influencing the game this much.

They don't have the skill to maintain possession for very long.

Still, exciting game. Just need to win the next leg.

It's not all loss. Just need a win next week and they're good.

Well, not a great result with the 2 away goals, but could be worse. We should have had this one though.

At least I have hope in the next game we can come in score a couple.

L.A. has another game on the weekend while we have the whole week off so hopefully they are also very tired by then.

We better be flying out to L.A. tomorrow to train for the whole week.

2-2 draw at basically what is half time now is a pretty good result.

There seem to be contrasting opinions about this. On the one hand, defend the lead (where D takes precedence) or keep attacking with the lead (O takes predcedence).

I was just referring to the ball being in our end and we seemed to be a bit casual about getting it out with safer plays than passing right in front of an opponent. Like in the first 1/2 when our player had a chance to get it out with a simple pass but chose to try to fancy foot around the opponent and lost it, creating a dangerous opportunity for them. Luckily, they didn't score that time.

That's what happens without Julian de Guzman, luckily he'll be back for the next game.

Toronto threw that game away unfortunately. They really don't have anyone to blame but themselves as they showed no composure in that final 10 mins. Still good to see a great atmosphere like that on the other side of the pond, looked like a Boca Juniors game.
