Biyombo is 2 years away from being the best he can be. He got absolutely demolished tonight. Its easy playing against post players who rely solely on athleticism (Howard), and a totally different ball game playing against post players who actually have a defined skill set. He will be much better next year, but the year after is when I think he will start to establish himself.

Walker is the one that is going under the radar. Biyombo this, Biyombo that. Walker is showing that he is the point guard of the future, and Mullens is actually becoming a man in the paint.

pretty much here to echo what liverpooty said.

really disappointed with biz tonight, but it wasnt so much his defense that disappointed me. he got schooled pretty hard by jefferson in the post. lets hope he takes this game film and really studies it. hopefully the next time he sees jefferson he will have better results. however, it was the offensive side of the ball that really upset me tonight with biz. he was back to the stone hands, rushing shots, shuffling his feet, missing free throws, pretty much an utter trainwreck.

hats off to mullens who seems to be out of his slump. he is hustling more, playing with energy on both ends. thats good to see.

another solid game from kemba. the differences between his defense and energy vs dj is starting to become very noticeable. kemba is earning his minutes right now.

also, another great energy game from najera. i just cant say enough positive things about him. huge fan.

as for dj white, i still dont get it. 2 rebounds in the past 2 games, about 38 minutes combined. its not good enough. he has one skill, making open mid-range jumpers. i am about ready to give his starting spot to mully. pair mully with biz, bring najera off the bench and white and thomas can fight over the leftover 10 minutes.

maggette was born to draw fouls.

i want to see a team with kevin martin, corey maggette and tyler hansbrough playing together. those three could fight it out to see which one got to the ft line more.

he really needs an offseason lifting weights and learning a couple of post moves.

But his play has given me some hope that he deserves to be in the NBA

looking back on this game, what would have been a better way to defend jefferson? we tried double teaming him briefly in the 3rd quarter, but the jazz are a good passing team.

how about putting Gana on him? he's smart enough not to bite on Al's fakes and it's not like has any reason to bite on them since he can't jump to block anything with the hops he has nowadays. I reckon Diop could bump Jefferson around.

Yeah put more size (Diop) on him or just deny him the ball.
