The Boston Celtics' first-round pick will likely be in the 15-18 range. That's where most mock drafts have Austin Rivers pegged. #justsaying
Has nothing to do with us, but still interesting.

Asked about possibility he'd play for the #Chicago #Bulls, Dwight Howard playfully said, "It's pretty cold here." #Magic
Lol, it's cold in NY and Dallas, too.

I saw him play a couple of times his Sr. year in high school, and he never seemed like an otherworldly athlete like Rose/Westbrook/Ellis. Has his athleticism improved at Duke? He's more of an SG than a PG too isn't he?

he will be nowhere near as good as rose/westbrook

Of course Boston could get Austin Rivers, why would we get a mid 1st rd pick in a deep draft and the chance to land a player like Austin Rivers? We're the Magic.
I think we roll into the PO's with 3rd best record in the east, get stomped in the 2nd round, lose Dwight and up with the 29th pick again....We have alot to potentially look forward to.

Duke wins the National Championship, or he is guaranteed to be a top 5 pick. Even with the top 5 status it is not a sure thing with him. His dad wants him to stay in school, he loves how his game is developing under coach K, and he does not need the money.

This is a valid point. I would agree that his chances of staying another year is greater than 70%

his physical attributes makes him a stephen curry clone - his play is more like a score first combo guard as of now, but that's what curry was in college too -
don't think rivers will be as efficient right off the bat though - i would consider his rookie year production to be more like that of lou williams

So he knew he was loafing and then was thick enough to admit it? I'm surprised Kobe didn't kick him in hte critch during a timeout.
Part of a larger article about Mike Brown's coaching ability coming into question (which is no big surprise IMHO). Original article is here

I am getting the feeling with some of these top guys wavering that the 2013 draft is going to be the epic one, not 2012 like most projected
