 Agreed, but I'd still take him

I like Beasely and I followed him in both Miami and Minnesota, but he has never had a hard nosed coach like Stan before. There is no telling how Beasely's phsyche really is. Is he mentally strong or weak. All we know is he has talent. Yet, the question is, how would he react to an angry Stan yelling at him often?

If contracts were aside I think I'd take Joe Johnson over Monta Ellis. Just for defence alone I think he's the better player. Anyone else feel that way?

I agree 100% that Joe is a better player then Ellis. But Ellis is younger and has a much better contract. If contracts were not an issue and you asked me to chose one or the other for right now, I would take Johnson.

If only the Bucks, Jazz, and T-Wolves would agree to it...

the Buck are dying to get rid of S. Jackson, the David Khan and Otis think the same way so it should be too hard and they wanna get rid of Beas, with the Jazz its just a clean swap of 2 Pgs

I could possibly see the Jazz and the Wolves parts going through but there is no way the Bucks agree to take BBD and Duhon for SJax no matter how much they want to be rid of him. That would give them 4 deep at PF and 4 deep at PG.

If you switch out Duhon and BBD for Turk you might have it worked out.

Believe you me I want BBD and Duhon gone as much as anyone.

Joe would be perfect for this team. We need ball handling (check), a low turnover guy (check), wing defender (check), big body to throw at Lebron, Melo, and Pierce (check), can create shots for himself and others (check).

He just gets a bad rep around the league because he is an All-Star being paid like a superstar.

The difference between Joe Johnson and Shard is that Johnson has been consistent playing at the All-Star level since he got his big contract.

I like the fact that Joe Johnson is a helluva passer. Dude can post 10 assist games at times. Just a damn good all around player.

The Bucks really need a SG. Delfino can get the job done at SF.

Why would the Jazz trade Harris for Jameer? Makes no sense. Why do the Bucks take on a worse contract just to get rid of Jackson?

Anderson, Redick, and Orton for Josh Smith works in the trade checker. Make it happen Otis.

If Orlando plays hardball at the deadline, don't be surprised to see NJ move Lopez for Smith and go all in on signing Dwight outright.

How about this for a swap for Smith?

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachi ... Id=7lobu5g

Dwight
Anderson
Smith/Hedo
Hinrich/Von
Nelson/Duhon

(and just for parity)

Jefferson/Zaza
Horford*/BBD
Marv
Joe Johnson
Teague

We'd have scope to use Dwight/Anderson/Smith in a nice 3 man rotation between the 3-5 spots, so everyone would get plenty of minutes, including Hedo (if he were to get unhappy). we'd get a MASSIVE boost in defense from Smith and Hinrich, but we'd still lack a go to scorer.

We make out worst in that trade. Hinrich is worthless at this point, and the hawks would rather let him expire than to take on Big Baby when Al Horford will be back next year. The Wolves won't have a need for Richardson if the rumored, Ridnour for Crawford deal happens. Redick and Beas aren't enough to make the Jazz bite.

 Face it, Atlanta wont trade Josh to Orlando, not a division rival.

As for trading for Lopez to NJ, this way i think NJ wouldnt have cap space to sign D12 in the summer, so its not happening either. GS is a great option for them.

Lee+Monta for Josh+Marvin? It works in term of salaries.

Very well done trade idea. The Jazz are playing well now and they don't have much Center depth right now, but they do need a good SG, so you never know. Plus, I think the Hawks would rather keep Hinrich's expiring, but I would even do this if they threw in Marvin Williams contract.

I can see a deal like this going through. Now, would the Hawks do a deal with their Biggest rival?
