If this trade is for any sort of future pieces and/or picks, I'm watching this team a lot from the date of trade and obviously into next year again.

I have a really sick feeling about what we are going to get for him

Bitter sweet if he's traded. I'm happy to see him go if it means we step in the direction of rebuilding. If he's gone for some awful "win now" move, I'll be disappointed. Will wish him all the best if he is traded, wish he could've stayed healthy and we could've put a competitive team with him on it but that time has passed.

He said there were lotto teams willing to give up their picks and playoff teams willing to give expirings and players. The choice is obvious to us, not so obvious to the Bucks. :(

I guess I just don't get it. I'm not a fan of dumping him at all, but especially not now. Why not deal the guys currently playing and bottom out this year. If we land a big piece maybe Bogut can fit alongside. If not, try to deal him when he's healthy and worth more. Typical Bucks sell while the value is lowest.

Not that Bogut is 35 or something, but I'm fine with trading him immediately given his age.

He's too old for a rebuild, he may not be back this year at a relevant point, and the return on waiting for his value to go up won't be that great. Letting him play 2 more months on our roster next year isn't going to help our return on the trade much at all.

Yeah, you're probably right. I think it's just a combination of disappointment in what became a whole lot of nothing getting that number 1 pick and the terror of him being gone in a win-now move.

i agree
Gooden and Ersan are playing well
lets get draft picks and/or youngs for them

some teams need shooters off the bench
we have 2
Delfino and Dunleaavy

Orl or NJ, could want Sjax

So there will be 5,000 paid seats instead of 5,050. I'm guessing Bogut didn't actually have to pay for them anyways.
