Did they insinuate as part of a Howard deal? he would be a good add

No, had nothing to do with Howard. Was just sort of blowing up the Blazers, which in case you hadn't heard, are a plane crash that fell onto a train wreck that plowed into a car wreck and ran over a couple of children before burning to the ground.

Interesting.
Adding Wallace and/or Beasley to this team would be intriguing, if Wallace can play the 2.

Wallace would be a great fit here, athletic, tenacious on defense, and can get his own shot
aol4532 on bill russell
I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.

I'd certainly try to, but it makes more sense for GS and ATL to do the swap straight up. Helps both teams imo.

I was actually thinking of a 3-team deal or a 4-team deal among Orl, Atl, GSW, (and Minny)

There are possibilities there to make every team happy.

Hit me with some hope, man. I was trying to find scenarios. I don't know what we have that would interest ATL, unless we took back Marvin Williams or even Joe Johnson.

No one wants to touch that joe johnson deal. Maybe we can take it off their hands and get Monta...

That's actually a great scenario. Joe is owed $90 million over 4 years. ATL would be hard pressed to not take a deal that frees them of that mistake. Plus we get Monta and Joe :droop:

LOL, really? Care to elaborate?

Suck as in Boozer/Deng/Noah/whoever else not named Rose are role players or at best border line all stars. So yes, the trade would suck.

Magic Would Seek Carmelo-Style Trade For Howard

The Magic continue to tell teams that call about the availability of Dwight Howard that they do not intend to trade him.

But sources say the Magic seek a trade similar to the one the Nuggets received for Carmelo Anthony if they change direction.

While the Nets, Mavericks and Lakers would be considered in trade, sources say the best trade offer would receive Howard.

The Magic would seek multiple talented young players and draft picks. The team wouldn't want to blow up a contender and see the Nuggets as a model for a middle ground.

Representatives from the Nets, Lakers and Mavericks say the Magic have yet to decide which path to pursue.

Do the Magic finally have an answer from Dwight? Is this the end of the Dwight Howard era?

I like the idea about a trade with the wolves and blazers based on issues that net you trade gains. If teams trade equal talent for equal talent, no one would ever get ahead. Each team has to gain something. Even if gaining something means losing something.

The scenarios developing in Minnesota (need veterans to anchor their team, Rubio connection to Fran) and Portland (imploding) are things we can use to our advantage to squeak out a gain in a trade.

Wow! this is one hell of a trade idea.

I agree, ATL won't pass this up b/c they can get rid of Joe. Warriors get what they want in J-smoove. And we have a Beast of a line-up, although completely in cap-room hell. But it wouldn't matter b/c I honestly think that team would be able to contend.

Monta
J. Johnson
Turk
Anderson
Howard

OTIS!! I know you're creeping here to get some trade ideas, this one is something you might be able to do.
