Yeah. I could get on board with a Bogut deal that was built around Udoh and Thompson.

Maybe Bogut for Udoh + Thompson + Biendris?

Or... Bogut + Beno for Udoh + Thompson + Biendris + Kwame?

Epke Udoh looks like Greg Oden's older brother.

But I'd look at moving Bogut and Jackson to Detroit as the primary move.

They'd love Jack in Detroit, every night would be bobble head night in the stands.

I think it could work. Jackson "replaces" Gordon and they get Bogut next to Monroe. With their other vets, I think Detroit could be okay, especially if Jackson produced. Bogut is most likely better than any drafted player they receive.

A package of Gordon, Maxiell, Macklin and the pick has the impression of win-now while rebuilding, which is the Bucks favorite motto.

I don't understand. Why would the worst team in the league, a team that's years away from anything, trade for an oft-injured 27-year old who plays the same position as their most promising player?

I'm not being disagreeable when I say this, Udoh sucks and turns 25 before the season is over. I mean really sucks. I wasn't kidding with the Larry Sanders analogy, I actually think Larry would have put up significantly better numbers in the same time in that GS system. Udoh is barely an asset at this point.

Golden State is interesting and I would want Klay Thompson back, but I wouldn't want a package that hurts our tank. Klay Thompson is nice.

Yea, I was thinking that. But that would seem to me to mean some collusion between Hammond/Skiles, and I thought their relationship was in the dumps already. So I just chose one randomly (yes, randomly, has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that I dislike Hammond more). 8-)

There are some issues there but I think both realize they're tied in this thing together. Both also love Jennings so there's common ground in that regard. Jennings' development isn't just directly related to Hammond's fate; it's tied to Skiles too because Skiles fell madly head-over-heels gaga in love with him and that's one of the reasons why Hammond decided not to match Sessions' offer sheet (that and the fact Sessions told them he didn't want to be here any longer). Both of them likely need Jennings to become great in order to keep their jobs. I think it's easier for them of them to justify dumping on Bogut and ultimately dumping him and pinning all their hopes on Jennings.

To that I say, good luck.

Detroit's pick could yield Thomas Robinson and our pick could yield Bradley Beal. Next season could be:

Jennings
Beal
Harris
Robinson
Sanders

Gordon, Dunleavy, Leuer, Moute on the bench, plus whatever pick we get from Ersan/Delfino and our 2nd round pick. Maybe try to pull Austin Daye back from Detroit as well. That would be dope imo.

That said, probably will get a very disappointing return for Bogut.

Rebuilding teams are often over-eager to get back to the playoffs, trading future picks that they think will be mid-first rounders for solid but unspectacular veterans. It's just really hard for teams to commit to a sustainded rebuild. I could easily see Charlotte, Cleveland, Washington, Detroit, or Sacto falling into that trap. Let them top-5 protect the 2012 pick, with their 2013 pick as a back-up in case the protection kicks in. Their 2013 picks will probably be pretty good, even with Bogut. I really think this has more potential to happen and makes more sense than most suggestions on here.

Bogut for Horford would be pretty cool, too. :D

I didn't hear Woelfel name specific teams yesterday on the radio, but apparently he told somebody.

Woelfel names the Magic, Hawks, Celtics, Rockets, Hornets, Wizards, Bobcats, and Warriors as clubs who have some level of interest in Bogut. Some of those teams are more realistic suitors than others, but Woefel points out that Bogut's age and contract make him a potential fit for contenders as well as lottery teams.

The Bucks have a chance to be one of the league's more active teams at the trade deadline -- Milwaukee possesses obvious trade candidates such as Beno Udrih and Stephen Jackson, and a less obvious trade candidate in Ersan Ilyasova. Woelfel says that ideally Jackson's contract could be included with Bogut's if the Bucks were to consider dealing their big center, though finding a logical match for their combined $21MM+ salary could be a challenge.

Lulz @ the Bobcats looking at Bogut. Unless they are offering peanuts, I can't imagine they'd want him.

Ok Paul, I understand you think Epke Udoh is terrible, but I disagree. He looks to be developing into a decent player for GS this year. I also thought he was terrible, before I watched a couple of his games last week, I then changed my opinion on him. He seems much more coordinated than Larry Sanders. Here's a thread on the Warriors board that talks about him.

The only thing that interests me on the Bobcats is their 1st and possibly Biyombo. The only thing the Wizards have that interests me is their 1st and I guess Wall, but I see no way they move Wall.
