No, trading the right guy at the right time would go completely against the Bucks MO.

Put a healthy Bogut on that Charlotte team and they're definitely not the worst in the league. 3rd worst.

Paul, your Bogut eyeglasses are clouding your judgement here.

I just thought we might be able to do it since Jordan is known for doing stupid things. I totally forgot they hired Cho. :P

I see Bogut going West. Out of the Eastern conference and thus Kohl will feel like he doesn't have to face him four times a year or in the playoffs should Bogey have a fountain of youth renaissance. I'm putting my money down on Houston, GSW or New Orleans.

If we do something like trade Bogut and Ersan for Kaman and Gordon... I am going to be furious.

I could totally see us doing that, maxing out Gordon to play in the back court to play with Jennings, resigning Kaman for too much money and then going right back to the 35-45 win range.

27. And Cho's got owners to answer to just like Hammond does.

I'm pretty sure Charlotte is mathematically eliminated from the playoffs?

Next season, when it apparently matters, he'll be 28.

He turns 28 a month into next season, but what's a little hyperbole when strengthening a POV?

Lin has hurt the Houston deal. That pick isn't as valuable now.

Klay Thompson would be cool though, but not at the expense of our tank. There is no reason to nut early when we can take our time and tank out the season. Bogut + our top 10 2012 pick is better than almost all the suggested returns.

That's not hyperbole. They have like 5 wins this year. Basically, when they are starting their process, he's going to be 28. If you're trading for Bogut you're trying to win.

You're right, they're going to get like 15 meaningless games out of him this season at the age of 27 and to be honest, if that trade occurred, they are probably better off just letting him sit the rest of the year to get ready for 2012-2013.

Seriously, dude. I wasn't trying to strengthen the statement with hyperbole, I was making an assessment. Take Paul signal apparently went up when I mentioned something about Bogut.

Garbage. When you make a sh*t point and it gets pointed out try doing something other than screaming 'homer'.

OK, so what sort of meaningful games are they going to get out of the "27 year old Bogut" by this season's end?

If they trade for Bogut, they want to win soon. When that matters, he'll be 28.

I wouldn't exaggerate by 1 year to make a point. I'm stating that realistically, the games he plays while he's 27 are essentially meaningless.

Yeah those are definitely the three teams that make the most sense. I would put GSW and NO ahead because they are not in a position to win this year and have some mediocre stuff that might be intriguing.

I can't see Houston doing that though since they are still in it and I don't see those three we are trading helping them a whole lot.
"I just wanted to play because I just love the game," Jennings said. "It doesn't matter to me. I get up to play basketball. It's my job. I have to still be a professional and finish the season."

He said one of them will be 28... as in he will be turning 28 next year.

I don't see how that's a sh*t point, so much as it is just a fact. :o

Yep, reporting someone's age accurately rather than adding a year is blatant homerism, I mean how dare I? :D

Aussie nut sucker.

Add to the fact that the last 20some games for Charlotte are strictly for draft-seeding purposes and I think you have the "point" I was trying to make.

Bogut is likely younger than Ersan and Yi. I think all three were born in 1984. 8-)

I think there's a better chance of me nailing Halle Berry tonight than Jennings being traded - unless someone came in with a ridiculously crazy offer for him.

Again, I think one of the main reasons why Bogut is on the block is because the team wants to make a commitment to Jennings as this team's star going forward. That's not to say that Bogut and Jennings don't get along because they do. And he obviously gets along great with The Ultimate Teammate. So those two guys being made available isn't about a personality or chemistry clash with Jennings or anything along those lines. It appears to be entirely about the perception of what he can become if other players are put in place alongside him.
Nothing will not break me.

Also, being wrong by one year doesn't really qualify as hyperbole. It's just being wrong by one year. Not even a whole year.

It would not be Cho/Thunder like, but Michael Jordan-led teams have done some strange things in the past, and I doubt that would stop just because they brought in a new GM. Rod Higgins is still the POBO, and he's got his kid on the roster who has no business in the NBA.

I didn't say Kaman and Gordon. I said Kaman and the Wolves pick they own, which is 14.

Adding Gordon in there would make the deal more palatable from my perspective. 8-)
