It's like saying there is a top 3 class of Beal/Davis/Barnes.

Let's say for sake of argument that they are all 19 and will turn 20 some time in late 2012.

"Man, our record sucks but I'd really like to build around one of the top studs in the draft. They are all potential studs for our team and will only be 20 by the start of next season."

Yes, Bogut might play 15 meaningless games to close this season in the hypothetical trade this season. I guess they could sell a few tickets.

I did not say 28 because it sounded that way, I bolded WILL BE in massive font. I'm saying when the games mean something in 2012-2013 and they are starting to try to win with their new core, he'll be 28 less than a month into the season.

Lol you're focussing on the part of the argument that I really couldnt care less about and moved on from half an hour ago. We disagree as to why you Biyombo'd him, it was really a minor thing I was pointing out.

I'd do any Bogut deal with Curry. Then of course we land the #1 pick and get Davis.

Jennings/Curry/Harris/Ilyasova/Davis. :D

Consider me against moving Bogut for anyone with more troubling injuries than him.

Paul, you're going to think any Bogut deal sucks. Lets be real here. :) You're in full contradictory mode right now.

I'm sorry, but this is a 24 page thread based on what Gery W, is reporting...where are the insiders that come on here? All I keep reading is speculation, but there have been zero rumors from realgm insiders?

Like I've been saying, a lot of the stuff I've been hearing lately makes no sense to me. I don't get much of the anti-Bogut sentiment and I don't get the apparent lack of any concern whatsoever about Jennings. I also think more players should be on the block right now than are being shopped.[/quote]I agree. Why on earth do they want to put up with the crap that BJ put out after the All Star snub? When watching the Bulls game BJ completely ignored Ersan a bunch of times when he was driving to the basket. Meanwhile Delfino and Dunlevely made some really nice passed too Ersan for the hoop. This organization just keeps on trying to build with the wrong players. I do not mind trading Bogut, but only because of the injury problems he had.

An incredible amount of bias you're showing. All I said is that when the guy suits back up again in meaningful games, he'll be 28.

If I was trying to exaggerate, I'd have said much older. I actually looked at his age and said he'd be 28 when the games mean something.

The games he plays this season (if any) are meaningless. Honestly, can you just record that you're reading this and understand?

Sorry to the other posters for the clutter here. I stand by the rest of the argument. What are you arguing against?

Would you trade Derrick Williams for Harrison Barnes or Anthony Davis?

If you had a team of Biyombo and Kemba Walker...would you add Jennings and Bogut?

Rather, if you had Rubio and Love...would you add Jennings and Bogut?

This has to be the Bucks' Deron Williams trade, not trading him just to move him.

I want a top 8 pick in this draft. What I don't want is a guy with a structural issue in his ankles so bad that surgery hasn't fixed it and it could threaten his career, call me crazy. I also don't want Ellis or Udoh, largely because they both suck.

How is that contradictory?

GS is not going to get rid of Curry for bogut. And skiles won't play 2 point guards together. He barely plays Beno and Jennings together. A Ellis and klay udoh for bogut and delfino. We need someone who can score and we get a prospect and udoh is a could defender

I'd rather have Biyombo than a top 8 pick in the draft, but that would be my next preference, well over the "Klay Thompson" centric stuff. Some middling wing prospect with low projectibility. Klay Thompson is fine but would be hugely disappointing as the centerpiece of a Bogut trade. I'd rather get matching salaries and a bunch of int'l prospects from Houston.

Most of the pages are just a couple idiots arguing about how old Bogut is/will be.

I like Anthony Davis. He will be 19 next year and could get us some wins.

I like him because I think he's going to be a great shooter and potentially a very good scorer. I think he's the type of player that's smart and can move off of the ball much like a Rip Hamilton... only centered more around his three point shot than the mid-range game.

Also, to be clear, I wouldn't want him as THE GUY we trade Bogut for. But I would love him as a young piece on a team.

Wow, seconded. Why so enthusiastic about Klay Thompson?

From Marc Stein:

Sources say that the Bucks, at least for the moment, are insisting that any team that trades for Bogut take on the disgruntled Stephen Jackson as part of the trade.

And that’s what is bound to keep Bogut in Milwaukee past Thursday’s 3 p.m. trade deadline more than his latest health setback, after he suffered a fractured left ankle against Houston on Jan. 25 after landing on the Rockets’ Samuel Dalembert in the lane.

“The price (for Bogut) is high,” one interested suitor told ESPN.com this week.

Sources say that the Washington Wizards are among the teams to express the strongest interest in Bogut, which might be another indication that the Wiz are prepared to part with the enigmatic JaVale McGee, if not before the deadline than during the offseason.

Davis > Bogut
Barnes > Bogut
Drummond = Bogut
Kidd-Gilchrist = Bogut
Robinson = Bogut
Beal = Bogut
Sullinger < Bogut
Lamb < Bogut
Zeller < Bogut
Jones III < Bogut

I think Bogut is worth a top 3 protected pick as of today.

I don't need to be told why, but the fact that they have to unload Stephen Jackson tells me how dumb whoever is running things is. You can amnesty him (less stupid) or just let him expire next year since your team is going nowhere.
