I used to play with a co-worker that was so competitive that if I beat him in a game, he would not talk to me for the rest of the night. Would just stand there sipping his gatorade glaring at me as if he wanted to kill me then storm off to his truck after the game. Next day, we would be like best friends.

As an aside, in the 'real world' outside of professional sports, I think that's what's known as a 'prick.' :)

They acknowledged each other with plenty of smiles and friendly banter during the All Star game, not a big deal at all. Just because hands weren't shook at the end of 1 game does not mean there's any ill will. Ashamed I had to explain that to a fellow LA fan.

Welcome to Realgm. All i meant was it seems like Kobe really did rub Dwight the wrong way by telling him he'd be 2nd option and now Kobe is coming to terms with it trying to be all buddy buddy with Bynum.

I have a feeling Dwight is gonna roooyally screw us with his can't make up my mind decission. He will sign as a free agent with the Nets or Mavs with their rosters intact and leave Orlando high and dry like a used up dried up crackhead prostitute. So right now this lakers deal is sounding kinda good.

What I find funny in all of this is how way back when I told all the Lakers nut huggers that it would take Odom, Bynum and Gasol to get Howard. Lakers fans said that would never happen, in not so kind words. Well, if the Lakers do indeed get Howard, it will cost their entire front court, in one shape or form, just like I predicted.

What is even more hilarious is the fact the Lakers need a PG more than they do big man. Kind of makes no sense for them to go after Howard.

I'm not big on KMart, I feel like he is extremely one-dimensional, and Redick is necessary to our team. We have about 1 1/2 smart players, and he's one of them.

The more I think about it, this is what I believe happens which I do not like because I don't want gasol gone.

First la trades Pau to Houston for pieces plus Knicks first round pick. Then trades Bynum, ebank, and gouidlock plus la first, Dallas first, and Knicks first. Along with that they use the Tpe to acquire a few pieces from Orlando for salary relief.

Not the worst trade in the world.

Honestly, I think we have to trade Dwight now because, like someone above said, he just doesn't know what he wants to do, and at that stage bigger and "smarter" voices will be chirping in his ear nothing other than "$$$$$$" and telling him to leave Orlando (which money wise will probably be the best thing for him). At this stage I honestly do think there is a thing that Otis could do to keep Dwight.

How so? He gets $30 mil extra in salary if he stays and he's already an international superstar. Guys like Dwight and Lebron (look when he was in cle) are bigger than any market.
