And then you'll blink again and they'll be the 5th seed. That's the West.

Things not looking so great.

Minny is definitely going to make a trade and make a push for a higher seed, not just the playoffs, so someone has to fall out completely and Houston is most likely.

We really need Denver to tailspin, the Rockets to make a major trade that works out, or, and I hate to make it sound like I'm hoping for it, but someone like Dirk or Chris Paul needs to go down for a month with a severe high ankle sprain or something along those lines.

If not, say goodbye to that pick.

I've actually already given up on that pick, there's no one really out there for Houston to get that can get them more wins (unless they try to rent Howard which is very unlikely) and all the other teams are playing too well. Our best hope is for Denver to fail hugely, or for Lowry/Scola to put up some MVP numbers in the next few months.

It's been reported Houston is definitely making a trade pre deadline, I'm confident they have had there minor blip. They will improve & get in the playoffs

You're more of an optimist. I am a believe when I see it type most of the time.

I think there's a good chance they trade for Al Jefferson without giving up much and I don't know how that helps them much.

Yet you have no problem believing that the Timberwolves are going to make a trade and make the playoffs. Go figure.

Houston has a good run in, plus we can help them out of their slump soon in our matchup if they don't beat Boston

Well Houston has the 8th seed so far, but they've lost their last 3. They need a good set of wins starting tonight against Boston if I am to retain hope of that pick being ours. Especially with Minny right on their heels and have some assets to make a trade to push on.

Not sure how Al Jeff would work for Houston, he's obviously going to give you 20-10 a game but would he really improve the team and give them more wins? I think they need to trade Kevin Martin.

Well, first off I think the Wolves are easily the better team anyway, so even if they don't make a move, unless Houston makes a big move themselves that works, I see Minnesota overtaking them as is.
Meaning I think Houston as is needs one of Denver, Dallas, LAC or Memphis to fall out of the race by the end for them to remain there.

Second, I think the Wolves have the best trade chip between the two teams in Derrick Williams.

Third, I am an ironing specialist. Like a dry cleaning employee up in this bitch!

I thought most of us picked Minny in the preseason to be the MIP/sleeper team. Idk why we should be surprised that they're improving. They're average but somewhat deep team.

Not like this

Minnesota Timberwolves rookie point guard Ricky Rubio will have an MRI on his left knee Saturday morning amid fears he tore his anterior cruciate ligament, a league source told Yahoo! Sports.

“Possible ACL,” the source briefed on Rubio’s condition said. “We’ll know more after the MRI. … There’s a lot of worry right now.”

So confirmed that Rubio has done his ACL so out for the season. Feel sorry for Timberwolves fans because they are having a good season.

But this will seriously hinder their playoff bid.

With Portland going through a crisis & Utah being so hit & miss, Houston have to be happy & confident of getting the 8 seed

So you're the one who took down Rubio, huh? Didn't think you'd make him tear his ACL. What a jerk lol.
