Troll gtfo. Nice reactionary posts, do you search all the team boards looking to pounce on someone bashing the precious Lakers? Their titles are combined between two teams, two cities. Frauds. Besides facing us,kobes championships were against soft teams, and he had shaq for most of them.

Nah, just got my buddy's back is all.

I actually like Boston and the whole rivalry. Makes the game more meaningful.

And yes Kobe and Shaq needed each other to win the ring. Same can be said about Pau too.

Lol all in good fun, I throw anyone a bone who reps magic, I highly respect his game, as any fan of the bird era rightly should. I draw my line in the sand with Kobe though. Tomorrow will be a good one.

Lakers fans love Kobe, except when he ball hogs and is 1 out of 20. At least we found something in common. ;)

Yeah, as I said to ankles I have respect for Laker fans who are respectful/intelligent about the game, its refreshing to see some Lakers fans who keep it real. No hard feelings, all in good sport man.

Yeah it's not even like I hold a grudge against LAL like I do NYK or MIA because they know their basketball.. So i can respect them & enjoy a game against them. NYK had no relevance in a decade throw a couple talented bums together & act like their championship contenders. & MIA guaranteed 8 championships before 1 game together so it's their fault..

So here's to people who know and enjoy watching good basketball, legacy and good old competitiveness. Sure should be good tomorrow. Celtics gonna bust that a$$ though :D

Can't wait for this game. No matter where on the standings each team is the games always seem to be thrillers.

Last year we demolished them in the second half at Staples, hopefully we can do the same again.

i predicted this game to be an L last week, but i'm still hoping they get the win. team has to come up big. together to overtake the Lakers size advantage while they still have it.

Can we just delete page 2? How many times do we have to tell laker fans to report the posts on THEIR board instead of coming back here and trying to retaliate? This is the second game in a row. Some of us on here just want to discuss celtics basketball with other fans and not have to sift through the crap.

Completely agreed.

As for todays game i am calling loss. I am always wrong so this is a good sign. I dont think the C's have enough depth upfront to guard Bynum and Gasol. If i was Doc i would throw them the zone all game long. Bass can simply not guard Gasol, and that guy is one of the better passing-bigs ever. I'd like to see Pierce and rondo attack the basket and get some early fouls on Bynum and Gasol. They have been very good at home so really, this is gonna be a tough one with only 1 legit big in KG. Rebounding is always going to be huge against the Laker-bigs.

Unless he's injured, which hopefully happens real soon. This way I can stop hearing the 2nd best center in the league sh*t. That's like being the tallest midget, big deal there's so many bad/average centers.

I honestly think we are going to get destroyed. I laugh at the thought of Greg Steimsma checking Andrew Bynum. Not a shot at Greg, I love what he brings on most nights in limited minutes, but to guard the top two bigs in the game, who we struggled with when we had Perkins and Rasheed Wallace, is too much to ask from him...We will need another Rajon Magic Rondo night to even have a shot in this game.

Bruno - always one of my favorite co-posters! Never lose faith dude! Never ever EVER.

Remember my detailed posts about possible cardiac diseases in 20-30 year elite athletes when the Green thing happened?

Jeff = thoracic aortic aneurysm possibly associated with Marfan's syndrome.
Reggie & Len = cocaine-related dilated cardiomyopathy leading to lethal ventricular arrhythmia.
Hank Gaithers = asymmetric (ventricular) septal hypertrophy = idiopathic hypertrophic subaortic stenosis = "Athlete's Heart" resulting in lethal ventricular arrhythmia.

Now Chris Wilcox! Jesus. In an 8-9 year vet who MUST have had numerous cardiac evaluations over the years, my best guess is that he got dizzy & a Holter monitor revealed either a paroxsysmal SUPRAventricular arrhythmia such as paroxysmal atrial fibrillation, or Wolff-Parkinson-White or LGL syndrome associated with paroxysmal atrial tachycardia. Unless he has a horrendous
family history of ateriosclerotic vascular disease and/or dyslipidemia, it is hard to believe that he has obstructive coronary artery disease at age 29-30.

The Celts have a "cardiac curse". And, of course, there is Tedy B. & his congenital atrial septal defect which resulted in a paradoxical cerebral embolus - perhaps we have a Boston cardiac curse.

In any case, Paul must be the All Pro Paul we have seen in a little less than 50% of his 36 games this season for us to win, & Rondo needs to destroy Fish & make Kobe pay for roaming, for us to win. And we will, goddamit! In the last 4-5 games, Paul has been has been mixing his Js with many aggressive drives to the cup more than ever - unfortunately, Bynum & Gasol will be waiting for him there. :0(. Artest - meh!!

Pogue, Eric, Jammer - Can any of you post Paul's average stat lines vs. the Fakers during the regular season and playoffs (compared with his overall stat line vs. any team) during his career?
SamIam 2010: Truth's ability to play so incredibly efficiently is so UNDERAPPRECIATED. Bballcool 2012: Amazing how great Pierce has been for so long. Continues to defy age! KG 2013: P is original Celtic. Wherever he goes, we go. This is The Truth's house.

Anyone else have a feeling that pierce or KG will get their first triple double of the season tonight?

I would be happy if Rondo turned it up a notch today and got his 5th as well.

It's funny, if I did the same thing on their board I'd get warned in a minute.

Return to Boston Celtics
