I think Miller would give us some heroic effort starting and playing for his next contract. Rudy only talks about Spain when he's unhappy with minutes, with the Wolves and Ricky he could get some nice minutes. He's a true SG and knows how to play organized basketball, Adelman would probably love him

Jim Peterson would probably have another heart attack, though.

Jim Pete would get over it quick when Rudy is goggles bombing threes for the Wolves

Kahn has had multiple opportunities to trade for the guy, and it hasn't happened for a very good reason: he doesn't want to be here. He's also injury prone and overrated. People want 2008 olympics Rudy and he is a shell of that player.

Miller isn't an upgrade over ridnour/barea. He also walks at the end of the year. Add Miller and Adelman just moves Luke back to the 2. Luke moving back to his natural position is the lone silver lining to Rubio getting injured.

Wes has been playing a ton better lately, has fixed his shot, and has been an above average defender all year. You don't sell that kind of potential for 24 games of what at best is a very small upgrade. It would be a desperate, really stupid long term move. And with Rubio's injury we have to think long-term. Any trade deadline deals should set us up for the future. Andre freaking Miller in the backcourt with Ridnour is not going to help us hold off Utah, Houston, and Portland. I'd honestly rather see what Malcolm Lee can do with backup mins.

Neither Magic nor Wes have any future with the Wolves though, so I'm not sure I get your point here. In fact, trading Wes should open up minutes for Lee, especially long term. I sure hope if we grabbed Miller it would not be for long term, this is about patching the boat so we can limp into the playoffs.
