Every year the tourney comes around and I fall in love with three or four, or six, under the radar players -I still say Mickey McConnell can be a backup PG in this league - and start scheming ways for us to get the requisite number of pocks to take them all.
I'm reminded of this by seeing Quincy Pondexter last night, who reminded me of Charles Garcia and so on and etc.

anyone else suffer from this disease?

Yup... but D'Ant/Sarver cured me 4 or 5 yrs ago... Somewhere somehow we need to snag a pick 20-40... but who knows how? Think its unlikely.

Our hopes this yr will be for some team to get bounced early and their prospect fall into our laps at 10 or 11. That or a real lucky lotto ball. Keep an eye on Moultrie from Miss St.

and other sites have him in the twenties... so go figure.

The tourney presents a stage for prospects to move up 4 or 5 undeserved spots. Those who exit early, get nudged down.

Moultrie can ball. Sure he is no secret, and should not be, especially to scouts.

What do you think of Thomas Robinson? I really like him and I believe he could do well together with Morris. Do you think that Robinson can play center in this league?

On site lists him measured at 6'10" at the LBJ skills camp, and another says he's 6'8". The again, I'm old enough to remmer Willis Reed and Wes Unseld, both short centers who kicked a lot of ass.

So - yes.

But the issue i have is his skillset is nowhere near what a centers should be.

Also, most sites have him going in the top 4, so thats pretty much like us talking about Anthony Davis. We can talk all we want, but its not going to happen.

Wes Unseld had a lot of ass. The guy was built like a tree. That kid from Iowa St is the closest thing to him in the draft... then there is always the chance Diaw continues to fill out. 8-)

Yeah - he's a brute, but it's really an 'upside' pick. If you can afford to be wrong, great.

this is why you want those second rounders - I believe a GM should ask for a second rounder in any deal. Don't care when, what year - just so you stockpile them.

weird to read - this is what I have. I wonder how White would do with the constant flying? He might get over it or just as likely, it could become unbearable.

My panic attacks have abated, though it left me severely phobic about heights.

Yep. Upcoming draft maybe lacks franchise players (beside Anthony Davis) but is so loaded with good players and future NBA starters, so you can bet someone good will almost certainly fall to the second round.

http://dimemag.com/2012/03/5-players-yo ... ournament/

under-the-radar report, which is ironic, as they are no longer under the radar

like Trix's 'most unappreciated player' thing - after 15 or 20 people wrote columns or mentioned it during broadcasts, he was the most overexposed under appreciated player in history ....
the lack of respect went to his head

I wonder if it occurs to him now that he's been on two teams since he left, and on neither was he the Main Guy, or considered anywhere near a max contract.

Great great player with a bizarre delusion as to who he was. Maybe that;'s worn off now

Jae Crowder. Somebody will get the great team player in the second round (most probably). This guy is a born competitor.
