Be glad that's the only shot he took in the 4th. Who needs Paul Pierce iso when the Lakers are on an 8-0 run?

Quit bitching about the refs. You guys realize that the last hoop this team got was Allens three that put them up by 5?

They went 02:41 without scoring a point. Meanwhile the lakers scored 8 points. This offense is a **** joke.

If the C's didn't put themselves in a hole with poor crunchtime playcalling, they wouldn't have had to shoot 3's over triple teams at the end. oh well. At least they played with a set of balls.

Are you joking?!? 2.5 Seconds when the lakers are swarming all over them?

Ray was literally right next to him. I don't know how much time there was but he could have passed it off to Ray.

Pierce is the only one who doesnt play with 100% effort...he always look so out of it....just like on the playoffs last year he played like he was drunk or something

I saw the celtics play some classic defense against the the rockets in OT several days ago. Wish they could've showed some of that today

They weren't even guarding Rondo in the final two minutes.

What do you guys pay Crawford and the boys? I was thinking we could maybe get a little pool together to even it up a bit.

Yeah I'll admit it was some iffy calls but they all didn't go our way. No way in hell Pierce was shooting that shot.

This should be a wake up call to Danny. We need one more player to get back to the level of the big teams. One more. We can't stand pat at the deadline.

I'm so sick and tired of this team not being able to close out games. up 5 with the ball, 1:30 to go and they give up 8 straight points. Brutal, brutal, brutal execution on both ends of the floor.

I'm back to my blow it up mood right now. I can't stand watching these guys blow leads anymore.

You can blame the Celtics for losing a close game all you want----BUT, just like game 4 in 2010....The REFS kept the Lakers in this game in the 3rd quarter....WOW.....there would be NO CLOSE game....bulllllchitttt.

God, this would have been a great win if we pulled it out. We always choke in the final minutes against this team. When Ray hit that three I felt very confident we were going to win instead that was the last play we scored on offense. What could have been a great way to start the road trip ended up in a heartbreaking loss.

Rondo committed to shoot the ball before the catch. I don't think that he even knew Ray was the there. He just knew that the clock was running down, and that he wasn't going to puss out. I think that he shot after the peak of his jump, though.

The problem I have is that Rondo's offense got completely lost in the 4th quarter. He was playing great, and Doc was like "That's great, go **** yourself now." The WHOLE emphasis was on getting everyone else looks. This happens game after game after game. This is NOTHING new. It is like Doc thinks Rondo's baskets only count for 1.2 points. They get to the final seconds, and Rondo is ice cold and doesn't have ANY rhythm.

It is a joke, and Doc is not held accountable. It constantly amazes me how fundamentally ignorant the press is around here regarding the game of basketball. They CRUSH Belichick at times. Ran Francona out of town. Doc? A total free pass.

By my count BOTH of those guys have more rings than Doc does.
