Imagine the final possession of the game, Beal grabs the board, goes on the transition, find Barnes at the 3 point line, Barnes shoots and knocks down the game-winning shot

BC doesn't have the grapefruits necessary to give up enough to get that combo. I don't think he's ever heard about addition by subtraction.

Oh good lord your combing their names... I was hoping it was a type-o. Now are you hoping for both of them to land on our roster or either of them?

Lol well I combined my two favorite prospects into one now  ...but anyways I'm hoping one of them land here, I just can't see BC making an offer for another lottery pick and even if we do (which I hope!), not sure how we can play 3 rookies in the lineup and expecting us to make playoff next year.

I was able to work out a few 3 way trades with CHA and Utah (who has nj's lottery pick i believe)

Potential upset there, if Lamb and Shabazz's shots are on. I think Davis and MKG will probably murder Drummond and Oriaki on offense thou.

Iowa St is a nice team. I would love to see the UK-UConn matchup, but Iowa St is no pushover.

Just imagine if we end up with this frontcourt. We'd be set for years! :droop: :droop: :droop:

This mean our two big will rebound every brick shot demar pull up, that means no one can attack our paint, that means we have two nearly 7 footers out there :o

Yeah, BC never gambles on things like that. Otherwise, when was the last time a team made moves to get another top 10 lottery pick? Lolcats did it last year, who else?

It is not often to see teams outside of the playoffs are trading away their picks, except for big name players like Melo and Deron.
After the trade deadline, or particularly on draft day, they might trade up or down, but not often trade their pick, unless no one is good on the draft (like last year), while you can acquire another young talent through trading the pick instead (Charlotte, Sacramento, and notable San Antonio).

Imagine if Jonas flops, good GOD we're going to suck for a long time. It's amazing how much is riding on this guy being successful for us.

We need to look into FA anyway. Draft can get you to a certain point, then you need to find good players in the FA market.

the best thing about val and anthony davis means we would be set on every position after we trade 2 of bargs, ed, amir for a sf or pg and sign another really good pg or sf

I can picture Barnes in a Raptors jersey... I really hope that we can get him if we can't get Davis. He's exactly what we need at the 3, and he's going to be great in the NBA.

Gotta say, Davis and Valanciunas has the potential to be a DOMINANT 4/5 pairing. How would y'all go about constructing a team around those two?

If the Raps don't get Davis, I have a feeling it'll be Davis vs JV in the same way it's Irving vs Rubio this year.

If we do go to that route, we need major scoring from the wings then, we trade Bargs for something like that but if not a SF in return, I say sign Chandler, we need some offense at a SF spot so he can be the guy (only if we can't get any SF from draft/trade). And yea, I hope we also sign Steve Nash, or a scoring PG too. Do we even have enough cap space to sign both Nash and Chandler?

I am not sure Barnes is the exact thing at the 3. I see James Johnson as a better fit (without trying to do too much, and capable of making range shots).

Again, everyone think we need another scorer, but when our PG and SG are getting 15 FGA each, there is not many left, particularly we have Jonas and Bargnani with at least 12 FGA each, then your SF and 6th man left with 8 FGA each?
