Lowry is out for awhile. I don't see the Rockets trading Dragic now.

Just like when he asked for a trade. He didn't do that because he wanted us to get something back, he did that because he wanted the extra year on his contract. Same thing with Melo to NY.

No. How many times does this need to be posted before people get it? NO EXTRA YEARS/$$ in the new CBA's sign-and-trades. It's the EXACT same contract as if you sign somewhere as a free agent. They are of no extra value to the player unless it's to get them to a team that doesn't have cap or to save face a lil as a PR move (like this Dwight situation).

Did I say he would do it for extra money? No. I said he would do it For his own benefit. I said he asked for a trade for the extra money.

So save your smart*ss remarks for when you actually have a point.

It's not a smart*ss remark. I've simply seen people continually post about how we can still sign-and-trade him in the summer so he get more $$/years. Get over yourself. It's stating a fact. You seemed to imply that he was doing it for extra $$/years by comparing it to his trade request. If you are just saying he is doing it to try to save face, then yeh. Calm down...

Steve Kyler ‏ @stevekylerNBA
The story around the team is that Otis Smith and Stan Van Gundy think its time to end the circus... Ownership is not there.

I think that's been pretty evident from the start of the season with a lot of the stuff they've said in the media and their general demeanor. I think they both know he doesn't like them there, and they are both kind of sick of having to deal with all the hoopla surrounding it (hell Stan is having chest issues and having to take sleeping pills at night to get rest, etc). IMO, this should have been dealt with at the beginning of the season, either they should've gotten rid of Otis/Stan or gotten rid of Dwight.

If you didn't that think was a flip comment then you seriously need to work on your people skills.

But I thought winning a championship was their top priority?

These reporters have zero credibility imo. This is based on pure inference from Stan's comments the other night. "The story around the team" that he is making up on the fly.

Of course. Look at what Stan said the other night about getting "closure" or having to put up with the same nonsense over again if he stays beyond the deadline. If you can't see that, maybe you should work on your people READING skills.

Hmm......It seems that most people have little to no respect for Kyler around here.

Is he legitimate, or what?

All Kyler does is re-tweet and rehash things other reporters post. I wouldn't put too much stock in what he has to say.

Can we get to Thurs, 3:30 pm, so I can post my damn Confidence Poll?!!

And to that Steve Kylers Tweet: From SVG's pre game interview yesterday, I got the sense that he wants this all to end.

Lol. Sorry for stating a fact. I didn't call anybody any names or call their comments "smart*ss". That's cool though, I hope you enjoy wallowing in your hypocrisy.

Best plan yet.

Make one last ditch effort to keep Dwight as there is still a good chance he will stay. Then, if he decides to bolt, get a pick and a center in return. I like that.

And SVG is right. All I want is some cap relief, some draft picks and to see Dwight Howards face when he realizes the grass isn't always greener.

If Dwight prefers free agency then why did he request a trade?

He gets to go where he wants and make the most money if he's traded due to bird rights. And I don't necessarily believe he prefers free agency. It's just reported by "sauces" that he is. It could be that he prefers to be traded still.

Thank god this will be put to rest, at least temporarily, in a few days.
