I guess I don't get why you can't post specific deals. That doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

(Not that I mind your posts or anything. I think you are a very good poster. :D )

Here's a hypothetical: suppose there was a three-way deal that involved Bogut, Al Jefferson and Monta Ellis, along with some other pieces.

Who's the best player in that trade?

Why do you say that? Wichmae's track record with insider information has been much discussed before. I don't think anything he shared actually came to fruition. That doesn't mean he was making it up. His source may have been untrustworthy.

I'd assume that BuckPack's source has told him about these trades in confidence, and that he would be betraying his source if he gave out more details.

If specific details were told by BuckPack, then it probably wouldn't be too hard for the Bucks to trace who leaked the information to BuckPack's source and put his source's job at risk.

Jarrod N Rudolph‏@MisterRudolph

Sources say Magic, Warriors & Hornets are discussing 3-team deal that would send Ellis and others to Magic. Nothing imminent at this point

Trade S. Jackson soon. NJ seems like a nice place for him.

im not happy whasoever about the fact that bogut is on the block for a bunch of "flawed" talent. id reather keep him. we have a team thats gonna finish around .500 this year. how about we just get him back for the playoffs and see what we accomplish. after that we can see what the draft and offseason brings us. we get rid of the garbage..... not bogut.

Good track record for what, exactly? Reporting trade offers that are so utterly ambiguous that his credibility isn't on the line whatsoever?

What has he called before? I'm actually curious.

This again? Really?

I just hope the Warriors aren't getting Okafor and the T-Wolves first in this trade. That would kill the Bogut deal.

If you don't understand why I can't post specific deals, well I can't help you. Bern said it quite reasonably a few pages back. I'm only posting if I can in some way positively contribute (be it to the fans or some vicarious way thru the franchise's long term sustainability here); I'm not going to firebomb a deal just because I want to be regarded as some internet "insider." If the Bucks wanted the deal out in the public, you can bet Gardner would have the story written. There's a lot of smoke out there for you to find the fire, but I'm not going to lead you to the torch just so that I can stoke my internet ego.

Once again and for all, I don't know everything nor am I suggesting anything close to that. I do not know every deal on Hammond's desk. For what I do know, there seems to be more accurate information out there in the public right now than I would have expected--but nobody has it nailed. Discuss that, not me and my motives.

D-Will as in Deron Williams? No. We'd be just as bad if not worse than the Nets, he'd wallk and we'd have nothing.

And for the record, Panera is tasty but way overpriced.
