This is Rudolph's revenge for when he made an account here and embarrassed himself by simultaneously pooping and pissing his diapers when someone questioned credibility as a glorified rumor-spreader

Well it started with YBR first at TBN.

YBR reported it first, that is why i still think something might happen.

So now that everyone's buzz has been killed, just wait a few hours when a positive tweet pops up and everyone will be strapped in again.

I'm 50/50 on whether the trade goes through. But I'm also 50/50 on whether it's a play to get other teams to sweeten their offers.

I'm 50/50 that i'm losing my mind.

Just watching last night, JJ brings so many intangibles... Oh well. A backcourt guard of Ellis/Jrich/wafer/Nelson is pretty good offensively... Defensively not so much lol

I don't think anyone is hating on Redick or Ryan just because several of us want to see us attain Monta Ellis.

I like Redick and Ryan, they are my favorite players on the team by far. But I have to put aside my favoritism, and look at it objectively... Redick and Ryan gives it their all, and they put up good numbers... but they are replaceable pieces. Monta Ellis is a legit star (and that's my honest opinion, I know others think he isn't, but that's debatable as well), and Dwight has gone on the record saying "Monta" is one of the few guys he wants on this team in order to help him out. Dwight hasn't played with an explosive player in the back-court for his whole career (and Steve Francis doesn't count, because Dwight wasn't developed yet).

Edit* Ever since the Lakers/Magic Finals, we all saw that we needed a play-maker or a back-court scorer who can create for himself and for others when our offense becomes stagnant or late in games when the defense clamps down on our spot up shooters (our guys that can't create for themselves) and Dwight in the low-block single covered. Monta is a valuable addition to help make our offense more dynamic.

I never said I didn't want Ellis, but to give up all of our assets for pretty much one guy? This is a team sport for a reason. If the Magic do this, they better throw Davis out as well. I would want basically to have Howard, Ellis and cap space for the summer of 2013. Add that 3rd star and some shooters and then you can go forward.

Whatever does wind up happening I can only hope that there is a chance Orlando gets to the finals. If the move we have been waiting for is something like Ish Smith being waived and that is all then I will be incredibly disappointed. I can only hope that Alex Martins has what it takes to save the franchise and if we cant keep Dwight at least get something done like a LeBron for Howard or something. (As much as I despise LeBron he would be good for the Franchise for sure)

I think the magics main goal at this point is just getting Dwight to opt in for 12-13 and then seeing what the future brings then. Even if it means giving up whatever it takes for a nearsighted goal of opting in

Agreed. Maybe in a few years.

But to assume he was drafted to replace Anderson is ridiculous.

Thats the thing it takes time for these players to get acclimated to this system so to expect Harper to do anything this season is just absurd, and the fact that BBD will get increased minutes is just a terrible idea in of itself. I do not want BBD on the floor at all let alone more minutes
