Maybe Utah would do this

Devin Harris
Enes Kanter
Alec Burks

for

Andrew Bogut
Shaun Livingston
Jon Leuer
2012 2nd

Reisgn Ersan
draft Perry Jones

Jennings/Burks/Jones/Ersan/Kanter
Harris/Delfino/Moute/Gooden/Sanders
Udrih/Brockman

I could tolerate it (not love it or be elated about it) if we get the Knicks pick, because we'd then bump them out of the playoffs and we'd likely get a top 10 pick. Jennings/Martin/Harris/Ilyasova/Dalembert without question makes the playoffs from here on out over Knicks. My only concern there is the Knicks completely bottoming out and hitting top 3, in which case they get to keep the pick.

you lost your fool mind? That is f'ing awful....softest bunch of scrubs I have ever seen.....the best player by far is on your team and most likely to walk.

It's about getting the pick, not the players. But you knew that. My only concern is the top asset we receive in a Bogut deal. I consider a top 10 pick in this draft a good asset. I could care less about Martin and Dalembert.

I'd rather get a proven asset than a pick. Both would be great tho.

Sorry i did miss the pick.....my educated guess is that if the Bucks do trade Bogut now, we will all hate the deal, will be a win now trade that won't bring back any high pick, why would a team with a lottery pick trade it now before they would know if they won the lottery, makes no sense, only Hammond is that stupid.

I also believe Jennings could be dealt as well....although Hammond doesn't want to part with the only guy he believes he can hang his hat, not everyone in the organization feels the same way.

People still loving Harris on here, been pretty bad from what I have seen since starting.

I agreed...I'd need the pick in a Houston deal. We don't have to dump Jax on them if its a deal breaker.

Zach Lowe ‏ @ZachLowe_SI
Hearing: 1) Denver is being very quiet as deadline approaches; 2) pump the brakes on ORL/GSW/NOH rumored trade talks.

Pretty sure Hammond's never traded a lottery pick at the trade deadline.

Not saying he won't ever do it.

Like I said, I appreciate his posts and stuff. I just don't get how people consider him an "insider" or something like that. (Even though, BP, I realize that isn't what you are trying to be)

That's how a real insider would act though. Nobody who has a real relationship with somebody higher up in the organization would reveal specifics until the deal was official when they trusted you with the information, which if it does get out, could kill the deal, put pressure on them to make a decision they're not comfortable with, make the organization look incompetent, and ultimately lead to people getting fired.

You should be more skeptical about a person who does give specifics. That means they are quite disconnected from the original source, and thus don't care what happens to them.

Ball Don't Lie on Jennings & Tyreke

Also fun to note how many times the Bucks are called dumb by references to moves/contracts with Salmons, Jackson & Gooden.

That may all be true. But the flip side of that philosophy is that a person who doesn't give specifics doesn't have to put their credibility on the line. They can "leak" vague conversations/chatter/rumors without people questioning their validity because their generality makes them inherently plausible. Thus, when the deadline passes, no one can judge the credibility of the person who originally "leaked" the information because there is nothing which substantiates it one way or another.

Over time you can judge from the clues they've provided to tell if they had legit information.

And PP has vouched for him as well. He probably has been private messaged more specific information in the past. PP has established trust with a lot of people here, so I could understand why BP would do that and not share with the masses. Also, PP is 1 of 2 people on this board who you can private message.

IIRC BP strongly inkled CV/TJ trade way back when. That would mean his source is someone who has been with the organization for a while through F.O. changes. I have a good idea who his source is.

Am I the only one who is going to be sad if we move Bogut, just on a personal level? It would be closing a door on an era for this franchise, a pretty mediocre era, but still the end of an era.
