I think the Hornets are unreachable at this point now and the Wizards are a stretch, we are stuck with the worst record and getting screwed in the lottery, I'm afraid.

I want to believe but we are stuck between a rock and a hard place, if we catch one of the Wiz or Hornets somehow we'd likely fall to the 4th pick but if we stay put I see our odds as being the 2nd pick but hopefully by some turn around of fortune we can snag the #1 as much as the odds are not on our side.

I can buy it. You know why? Jeremy Lin has cramped on his style and stole his thunder. Melo isn't automatically the "big dog" in New York anymore. Probably feels disrespected that a Harvard D-Leaguer is more popular than him.

If NY were smart, they would approach Orlando about a Howard/Melo swap and find a team to take Tyson Chandler.

If McGee gets $14 mil a season or anything close to it then based on his already quick curve Biz is looking like he will be worth 7 billion dollars a season when his rookie contract is up.

If he wasn't a complete idiot, he could be a top five NBA center. There's no doubt about that. Then again, we can say similar things about Tyrus Thomas and a slew of other "athletic beasts".

It's easy to call him dumb when he's asking for 14 million. But what if he gets a >10 million dollar contract? Is he an idiot then? Maybe, but a very rich one.
