Major fail not starting Jodie Meeks. Monta would back him up.

You guys laugh, but it has to be painful for MBBOT because almost all those guys have links to the Bucks. So close MBBOT. Smith drafted with our pick, Lee and Ellis rumored Bogut pieces, Flynn was liked a lot by our management and reportedly higher than Jennings on our board, Oden would have been our pick had we won that year, Meeks was ours, etc. :)

SheedsWeed wrote:You never know what a GM will do, but how can any of you see Raptors trading their first round pick for Brandon? Aren't they in top five territory? Maybe they would do it if it was in the early teens...maybe...but c'mon...Top 5 pick for Brandon? Not realistic at all.
Delusional. YES THEY WOULD DO IT.

Jonas is their lottery pick. Come on now...use the noggin. Of course they would give a lottery pick up for Jennings. Espeically if we took Calderon! Wake up fans. That would be a deal they would do.

What do need moston taht team? A young PG who can blend with Derozan and Amir. Ding ding ding! I said this weeks ago. Bargnani, Jonas, DeRozan, Amir and Jennings....helloooo! That is a hell of a core.

They have enough lottery guys there. It might be top 3 protected but I bet you that they would trade Jennings for a lottery pick.

I actually would wait to trade Jennings in the Summer for the Raptors pick and have them draft someone for us and move Bogut now, but they might do just the opposite and trade .

Jennings value is worth a lottery pick. The only question would be whether it isprotected or unprotected. Absolutely they woulod if only to make Derozan happy and have two controled years.

What are you all talking about? You all think Bogut can get you a lottery pick and Jennings can't? Ha ha ha...please. Jennings can get you a lottery pick. And to the Toronto fan who says this short term nonsense....you don't know your team.

I guarantee you Colangelo would deal that pick for Jennings. There is no player in the lottery that can help them more then Jennings can for what they need. You all overestimate lottery picks.

Jonas is there lottery pick next year...they can sacrifice this one for an up and coming Superstar in Jennings with the UnderAmour market and playing with his boyhood buddies. You all need to learn about the logistics of trades.

You act like lottery picks are gold. Some are...but that team needs a proven young stud player and regardless to what you think Jennings is only 22 with upside and borderline All Star! He and Demar would set that team off and put fans in the seats!

A total no-brainer for Toronto...imo. It would save Colangelo's job. That jennings deal for a pick and maybe a filler and player would be a job saver.

The only reason I don't rock this deal loudlhy is that I don't like Calderon...and I guarantee Hammond does and would take him...But Toronto would be a perfect place and market for Jennings. He even said it...

For people who don't want to read that essay, "The Raptors would take Jennings for a lottery pick. I'm right, you're wrong."

How so? Thompson is good, we lock in for a 2012 tank and 2013 tank.

That is the whole damn point. If it's getting torn down, go for the #1 pick. That's what matters most.

Getting $.50 on the dollar for Bogut is fine if you're all in on the tank.

Neb just rides the uber-emotion. He gets it in his head that we have to tank, SO WE HAVE TO TANK. He gets it in his head that it's Brandon or Bogut, SO BOGUT ABSOLUTELY HAS TO GO. He gets it in his head that Dunleavy is hurting the tank, SO I F'ING HATE JR.

You get the idea.

Have to say there is alot of tank potential for Milwaukee if the deal is with GSW and ORL.

Too late for tanking.

I've been saying for weeks there are some serious team tankers this season. Bucks don't stand a chance.

Neb's stance on Sessions will always be a top hit for me.

We only have to beat out one team to get in the top 10, we really don't need to do a serious tank.

Nah I just laugh because there are 3 prerequists to being an 'mbbot' player.

1. You have to be uber-athletic
2. You have to not have a brain in your skull
3. You had better not be ivory or dagnammit he'll go all 'Soul Man' on your ass.

With our schedule we would need to be Bobcats bad to have anyone pass us from here on out.

Thompson is good, but not that good. A late pick is a late pick, we could get that for Dunleavy alone if they were serious about tanking and be in the same position as we would be after you traded Bogut for scraps.

I'll give up tanking once it's over. This is the best shot this franchise has had in a long time.

Of course tanking is our best strategy.

Yes I would choose Brandon over Bogut if that choice has to be made.

Yes Dunleavy is hurting the tank so I hope he's traded.

No doubt Hammond will shut it down completely, but there are parts to this deal that could be tank-positive.

We've eeked out some wins lately but we are still an awful team. I could easily see the Knicks getting back in, but I could just as easily see us holding them off. We are just such an awfully inconsistent **** team. Playoffs or not we still won't do the right thing for the future of this team.

You would trade Bogut for a bad package just to tank when you could keep Bogut who will be out the season and tank just as easily.

You trade Bogut for a good package and nothing less at this deadline. you trade Ersan/Dunleavy for whatever you could get.

The Knicks aren't getting back in, nor will it be close imo. I still think we get Boston as well.

Wasn't Thompson the #1 player on the Bucks draft list last year? I thought I read that somewhere.

I think he's a pretty good prospect. I wouldn't mind him being our sg of the future.

Of course you do, but of course that doesn't jive with Neb's 'move Bogut or die' and 'Suck as hard as humanly possible regardless of what we are giving up or getting back to do it' agenda.

I've said that several times that there is no need to rush and trade Bogut. But they are trading Bogut... and it looks like it's GSW and ORL involvedm therefore I hope it's for a package that adds young assets and improves tanking. I'm not a big Curry fan.

I would love to trade Ersan/Dunleavy as priority 1 obviously.

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
