Don't push it. You guys already have a hard time trying to get Ellis even WITH Ryno, JJredick, etc. Besides DH, Magic has a mediocre team, sorry to say but true.

Do you even watch basketball? Dumb comments all around by you

You guys are top 5 because of Dwight. Honestly, the core isn't as strong, that is why Dwight wanted to leave. It's a fact, no need to be rude and get offensive.

One source close to the situation told ESPN The Magazine's Ric Bucher that the Magic have promised Howard that they will add a quality player before Thursday's deadline and that Howard can decide the fate of both GM Otis Smith and coach Stan Van Gundy at the end of the season if he signs an extension...

:o

Dwight is a dick if gets Stan fired....

not if Phil Jackson is brought in to replace him.

then again... maybe it is time for a new direction? clearly, if the Magic are offering this kind of freedom to Dwight, then that's the kind of change he wants, so why be stubborn and keep Stan just to lose Dwight in the process? no matter how good Stan is, he can't make the Dwight leftovers into a contending team.

another coach might actually be able to get something new out of Dwight?

but damn... i would LOVE to be there the day Dwight fires Otis.

Dwight - "ya like this team now, punk?"

That part about Dwight determining the fate of Stan and Otis was reported by Bucher. I'll never be a fan of Bucher. He reaches real hard for stories, imo.

Also, that bit about MIL trading Jennings, makes me wonder, if they'd accept Monta straight up for Bogut and knock us out of the deal. Or perhaps make room for Jameer? Too many questions, not enough answers.

Night everyone!

When Dwight has a chance to fire Van Gundy
or Smith he wont.
He might just say "I like this staff/front office"
Then we would hear Otis laughing in the distance.
I'm in Pluto im at Mars at the SAME DAMN TIME

I think it's time for bed. Take it easy guys. Today is the day...I can feel it. Or maybe that's just me feeling tired. Either way, let's hope for the best!

If top 5 in the entire NBA is mediocre than I guess we are mediocre.

Not trying to troll, but Lebron had the number 1 team in the NBA... and when he left they got the first pick in the draft the following year...

If that happens their is no way Monta is getting traded... Really, the Warriors are all over the place right now (much like every trade deadline) and I can honestly say, the chances of something drastic happening do not seem likely...

motherf......

fillers would have to be included, though. if Curry looks to be fequently injured, then i can understand that on GSW's behalf.

who do Milwaukee move Jennings for, though? Al Jefferson?

yeah, Bucks could bypass the Magic altogether.

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachi ... Id=822c5sp

Jefferson/Brock
Gooden
Ilyasova/Moute
Livingston/SJax
Curry/Udrih

vs

Kwame/Brock
Anderson
Ilyasova
JJ/SJax
Jameer

i know which option i'd go for...

imagine if we got ellis... and dwight ended up wanting to leave, and we traded him + fillers for gasol and bynum. a core of ellis, gasol, bynum would be a legit contender wouldnt it?

It's just another rumor and I think the last rumor Vecsey got was over 15 years ago when Brian Hill first got fired.

Yeah don't believe that rumor. They wouldn't do Curry for CP3, let alone Curry for Bogut. Plus Vecsey is an idiot and even Magic Johnson thinks he is.

I know. Since nothing has been heard of Curry being moved, and there have been rumors all day of the 3 way involving Ellis, and now that this has come out that Jennings isn't being moved that means I wouldn't put much into this Curry for Bogut rumor.
