Magical says trade to land Ellis has to happen tonight, by midnight.

We'll see.

Gilbert Arenas was never even given time to prove himself here, and he was out of shape. So comparisons can't even be made. So you would rather keep the team as is, and most likely let Dwight walk, overpay Anderson to about 8 mill a year, and win nothing? What makes you think he will play like Steve Francis and Gilbert Arenas here? You won't know until he is here.

What makes everyone think Ellis will make Dwight stay??? ummm because DWIGHT WANTS HIM! u gotta believe Martins has ran this by him and Dwight said im in. else, whats the point. and dont compare Arenas to Monta. thats comparing apples to oranges. Gil was a headcase, brought guns into the locker room, knees of an 80 year old, and was way out of shape. Monta can be huge for this team. I really hope Ryan isnt involved. Thats the ONLY player i dont want to go.

The trade is about keeping Dwight. You have to ask yourself this, are keeping Ryno and JJ worth losing Dwight?!

Dwight is gone after this season no matter who we bring in.

for the passion of anything holy, please god, make people stop putting jameer and ellis together in the starting line up. please, enlighten these clueless people with your light, show them the righteous path.

amen.

The comparison is that undersized SGs tend to disapear once they lose a little of that extra step they have. He's an improvement over nelson so wouldn't be that bad, but having ellis doesn't increase the chances of keeping dwight.

After the game. I dont want to see us running with 8 guys again like we did last year. Wins are more important this year with the shortened season.

Andrew Bogut is the name garnering the most attention in trade circles, but more than one team that’s talked with Milwaukee says the team is also open to trading guard Brandon Jennings and has hinted if the team moved Andrew Bogut, they may be getting a guard back in the deal, making Jennings expendable.

Sam Amick of SI.com first reported the idea of Jennings being available yesterday and sources close to the situation in Milwaukee peg a Bogut deal as the precursor to a Jennings deal.

“If they can move Bogut, they have a separate deal for Jennings,” said the source.

You can switch JRich out for Nelson. Mil is going to want a PG back in any deal for Bogut. that way they can move Jennings next.

It's hard to miss Stan (well, really the franchises') love affair with Jameer.

So, if we do get Ellis and still have Jameer, I wouldn't even be slightly surprised to see Ellis at SG and Jameer still starting. That's what I'm guessing others are seeing as well.

Worst part about all that..........Duhon is still in rotation.

and what if we wait till after the game and one of the players in the proposed trade gets hurt? Do you risk the possibility of blowing a trade that then forces Dwight to be traded tomorrow, just for the sake of 1 win?

A telling sign will be to watch to see if any of our players are not suited up tonight. Sucks, cause I want to beat Miami, but I want to keep Dwight and get Ellis more. We'll beat them next week.

svg could possibly start both, take out ellis or jameer early, and switch them off at the pg spot.

there's truth to a 3-team trade being discussed that could land us Ellis and GSW landing Bogut, but nothing else is known. We have today to make this trade or I think we lose Dwight tomorrow.

With any luck...the trade will include either Jrich instead of JJ or Baby instead of Ryan...

sorry, meant not winning in the post season. every good team knows that we are offensively limited if dwight is single covered and gets the hack-a-howard treatment

Curious as to what people think about this "if they move Bogut, they'll then move Jennings" thing.

The assumption is that they would be getting a PG back in the Bogut trade, so they could then move Jennings.....question is, who would do you think these deals would be with? Problem is his salary is so low that it doesn't match with much...they'd prob throw in another piece? Who needs Jennings and willing to give up a decent piece to get him?

Atlanta? LA? Indy? Portland?

I wouldn't be shocked if Bogut lands in Houston for something like Lowry + Dalembert. Then maybe they flip Jennings + Gooden for JSmoov or something like that?
