ok explain why Raja has played the 4th bc he bitched at Corbin and cried his way to playing time. He should have been suspended for 2 games minimum then earned back his starting spot.
Top 4 seed in the West!!! Guaranteed!!!

Still a gross win, in my opinion. The Jazz could have easily lost this game. Thanks to some lucky chucking, we didn't.

Its frustrating to see Utah playing for a playoff spot. Our veterans just barely scraped by with a W against the Pistons. The Pistons. Our youth are stuck on the bench, while our veterans are out there, showing the world that we have nothing to offer except a first round sweep against OKC.

I legitimately think that the Jazz will lose more fans playing their vets for a playoff push than playing their youth in a lotto season. I have no idea what they're thinking out there.
Jazz on your face.

I still think Al is a great guy to have starting on this team, because if all else fails you have a player that you can give the ball to on the block and say "create me some offense." He's a lot better than people give him credit for on this forum. At the same time, it's time for Favors and Kanter to get more minutes - that means Millsap or Al needs to go.

But that's not what actually happens. Replace "if all else fails" with "as our first option," and add everyone being forced to stand around on the perimeter... and we're getting close to what happens (at least to my eyes) almost every game.

Great game by Al. I'm genuinely happy for him to have a great night at a difficult time.

The Jazz can beat non-playoff teams with Al Jefferson as the first option. This isn't anything we didn't know already. He struggles against playoff-caliber defense.

It might just be me, but I feel like I'm not watching a Jazz game when our starters are on the floor. Its like I'm watching some other team, they just don't feel right. A win is nice but I just want to watch our younger players play. :(

I'll say this much... this team and the fan base NEEDS a trade.

That was the most silent and unenthusiastic crowd I've seen at Jazz game in YEARS and the place was packed! It was awful in there... absolutely no energy from the crowd or the team. I think the team and the fan base need something to get shaken up with the roster just to inject some life into them. I mean, the team came out sooooo flat and the crowd was never into the game, even in the 4th when it was close... it was just dreadful at the ESA tonight. It didn't feel like a Jazz game atmosphere at all; I was stunned at how flat it felt in there.

It almost gave me the impression like the crowd was saying "Ok, they're called the Utah Jazz and all... but this isn't a team we can rally behind and get excited about as a fan base anymore". Being stuck in the middle like this isn't going to fly forever... I honestly believe that fans can rally behind a young team, regardless of if we make the playoffs or not... or they can rally behind a serious playoff contender who could make some noise... but we're neither, and the fans won't stay excited about a mediocre team much longer, it's just not going to work.

Something needs to be changed. Even if it's just a small trade to open up some more minutes for Burks... but something has gotta happen.

.

We must not have attended the same game - I was there and noted how sparse the attendance was, I bet there was only about 9 or 10k at tipoff, and probably no more than 12, maybe 13k overall. There were tons of empty seats in the lower bowl. Look, it was the Pistons on a Monday night, and the Jazz have been struggling lately. I think that the crowd response was pretty lukewarm, until the 4th Q when they responded nicely to how the Jazz closed out Detroit..

With all of that said, I agree that a trade, even a minor one would bring a spark.

Yeah, that place looked like the Pac12 Tourney last night, terrible showing.
