ESPN saying Dwight isn't gonna opt in, and Stephen A is pretty damn sure Dwight isn't coming back if he hits free agency.

Second, I'm not mad at Lacob not dealing us Monta. That's his choice. But keeping him to keep hope alive that he gets Dwight is literally senile. Which is why I'm starting to question how real that is. Can a person really be that stupid?

I still say Lacob and the Magic are playing a game of Chicken - who blinks first?

We do.

We're on the clock, Golden State has no reason to panic. Ellis can't walk at the end of the season, Dwight can.

Now if we can only get Hedo suspeneded for a few more games, we could have some hustle on the court.

I tend to think you're right. Today is all about trying to get a "star" to put next to Dwight and a commitment from him not to opt out.

Tomorrow is all about getting the best trade lined up for Dwight and moving on.

Thursday is decision time. No pun intended.

Lacob is crazy to think he'll get Dwight

Making this whole "trade request" public (Otis) and then listing 3 possible destinations (Dwight) has been a complete hinder/blockade to any sort of trade happening... thanks you two

It's not an option for us if Dwight doesn't resign there with them. Dwight has way too much power in this whole situation and I hate it.

A few possible reasons:
- Gets Bogut, a Center he apparently covets, if it becomes clear he ain't getting Dwight
- Saves money by dumping Biedrins long term contract
- Monta and Curry aren't the best mix - frees up spot, gets assets and better fit to match with Curry
- Risks Monta getting disgruntled and poisoning the lockerroom

Note that I'm not saying any of those are definitely happening, but all are potential reasons for a trade.

This coming out of Chicago, again just from people that are semi close to the Bulls. There is a deal on board, has been for a while. Magic want Dwight to take the deal, pretty much what you guys are saying,Calling Dwight's bluff, again pieces involved not really clear. The clippers and heat stuff is all smoke to.

Hmm, Martins on an all out PR campaign to paint Dwight as having everything he wants here in Orlando. That might signal he's about to move Dwight and blame it all on Dwight. Which is what I figured he wanted to do, but was hoping wouldn't. I think Alex made it clear he didn't want to be at the helm for another Shaq situation, he must have tried everything, and he wants the fans to know, this isn't on his hands.
