What I want to know is why we haven't gone after Josh Smith? I mean isn't there some thing we can do to land Josh Smith? If we trade for him, Howard is sure to stay. No way he leaves his best buddy in the league. And Smith wants out of Atlanta... I mean yeah it would suck to trade Anderson, Redick and 1st rounders for Smith, but if it keeps Dwight, then I'd be happy for it.

Possible?
Anderson, Redick/Richardson, Big Baby, Harper, 1st rounders for Zaza and Smith?

Or somehow work out Turk and Joe Johnson into the trade?

Or am I just speaking nonsense?

I really think the best way to go right now is move Howard and start the rebuild. Fire Otis, move every player possible for picks/expirings/cash/project players.Keep our younger guys, Anderson/JJ/Earl/Harper/Orton/Liggins. Let SVG start to develop young guys and move on. The past is the past, let's not dwell on the fact Dwight will be leaving.

No need to go into complete rebuild. We have good pieces, and our team is constructed to work around a center. I say trade for Bynum, its the best we can do right now. Eventually over the off-season focus on getting rid of Baby and J-Rich's contracts and prep for the 2013 free agency.

i still have hope. if we can fix our bench production issue, i think we can make it to the ecf. i am content with that for this season.

Larger publications have confirmed Rudolph's rumors recently with their own sources, so you have to assume he's somewhat legit. Unfortunately, nothing ever comes of his over-hyped rumors, so it's hard to ever believe anything he says.

Alex Kennedy first confirms Rudolph's story about 3-team trade. then tweets that sources say nothing was ever discussed. Now says talks have ended between Magic & Warriors, lol.

Guys its clear as day, GSW will only give Ellis to us in a trade for Dwight. It is stupid, he won't resign with them, but they are willing to rent him.

It's either let Dwight walk to the Nets for nothing, or trade an all star center for an all star center who has won a championship already.

I approve of a Dwight for Bynum swap.

Its just a bunch of posturing.

I do think we should be focusing on getting josh smith, if only to get GSW back to the table if they have indeed gone away.

Work with MIL to send bogut to ATL. We'd take back jackson, give up ryan, and ATL would probably have to send them someone young as well

You are speaking nonsense because the Hawks don't want backup role players for Smith. They don't want to trade him and even if he seriously wants out, they would find better deals. Just forget it.

Somehere are just living in denial and thinking that this organization has hope. I've said all along that any team that covets Dwight will not help us retain him. Thats just the way it goes. And Rudolph is legit. He actually wrote an article about our team last offseason, almost everything happened. I.e. he said that we'd make a run for jamal crawford, and we did.

I can understand the hate for insiders though. They keep our hopes up, But when it doesnt happen. "Oh they are bogus insiders... They are not legit"
