OT: Dwight Howard to determine Coachs and GMs fate?

Disgusting! I don't think that is anyway to build a franchise.

It has been demonstrated before that if one person exercises too much control, that the teams fail to thrive. For example; Dan Issel. Not to mention that Dwight Howards brawn will not serve him well, whe he needs brains to make decisions.

Utah would be going through the same thing right now if the Deron trade never happened.

Both Dwight and Deron were always indecisive when asked "Are you staying with your franchise." Luckily, we realized indecisiveness was a bad sign, and shipped him off before he was worth nothing.

Now teams won't offer crap for Dwight because they can just pick him up in a few months.

In hindsight, it was pretty bold for NJ to do the Deron trade, without any guarantee that he would return. NJ is going to have Deron, Brooke Lopez, and Dwight Howard next season. They will immediately be top 3 in the East with that lineup.
