Yep, that's exactly right! And I'm sure that's why the Lakers are making calls about him.
I respect Hollinger, but he is wrong here. Sessions may even be one of the worst defensive PG's in the league (although I haven't noticed a glaring problem in all of the Cavs games that I have watched). However, Hollinger is very stat oriented, and Bryant, MWP, Gasol, and Bynum really help make Fisher and Blake's defensive stats look better. Sessions is at least as good on D as both of our current PG's, and he is exponentially better on offense.
I have defended Sessions' defense on here before, but now that I read what Hollinger said I do see the lateral issue that he is referring to, but Sessions plays more of a half court press style on D, and can be beat fairly often, but our current PG's play less aggressively and we still let opposing PG's live in the paint. I refuse to believe that Sessions isn't at least as good as our current PG's on D (I still think that he is a small improvement over). I watch nearly every Lakers game, and around half of the Cavs games, I am not sure that Hollinger does that.
