I would rather have Thompson instead of Udoh in that deal

Ellis doesn't make this team better in the future. He is exactly the type of **** we need to stay away from.

From your reasoning, we'd be just as well of trading Bogut for any 2013 expiring, that is not at all what most of us want. We want young players that a team can grow with. Curry is that.

I have to ask, what exactly do you guys think Bogut's value is?

Do you think there are tons of teams out there fighting for the right to give away championship pieces so they can get this guy who hasn't been healthy for a few years and at his best will give you 13-10-2?

I also laugh at everybody's excitement at the idea of getting Curry instead of Ellis. Hooray, so we can have another decent point guard who will help us hover around the 8 seed for another few years before bolting in FA if he's any good for us.

The people who are trashing Kohl and Hammond seemingly want to do exactly what those guys have been doing over the past few years, which is just delaying the inevitable blow-up/fresh start this team needs.

Hammond would at least ask for ppg. That's like...over 115 points per game we would be scoring after we add in Monta's 20!

Bogut holds more value then Howard to teams that arent going to be able to sign him, especially given the fact that Bogut is signed for a couple more years. Injuries or not, a top 5 center has more value then expiring contracts.

T-Wolves are not giving up Pek and Williams for Ellis. Ellis sucks. There's a reason only one team sems to be targeting him. Ellis doesn't make teams better.

Just a thought..........Still think my Gordon is the best deal out there and there had to be a reason why BuckPack was silent all day and then i Proposed that and he responded right away

Yes he does. The question is why the hell do we have any interest in anything besides expiring contracts?

Say you guys get back what you want, Steph Curry. Where does that leave us? A 35-40 win team next year and more than likely continued draft picks around the 10-15 range. How does that help us long term? We would have nothing to draw free agents with, and no high draft pick.

The only way this team gets fixed long term is 1) tanking and 2) getting rid of the pieces we have now.

If you're trading for Monta Ellis, you might as well keep Jackson and trade for Delonte West

1. 13-10-2 with the second best defense in the league. That's elite center production.

2. We don't want championship pieces, we want picks and young players. The warriors aren't winning anything soon.

3. Curry's a much better player than Monta and is 3 years younger. Curry has potential to be a superstar. Monta is what he is.

4. Curry is way more valuable to a rebuild than an expiring. Young Talent>>>>>>>>>>>Cap Space

I see absolutely no reason for the Hornets to make that trade. With Bogut, they are no where near a playoff team, he's wasted talent. At least Gordon is young enough for a rebuild. I think that trade is awful as well.

Nobody here actually thinks Ellis is going to make us better, or at least I don't.

All Stephen Curry will do is enable us to continue doing what we've been doing the last few seasons, which is stay mediocre. I guess if everyone wants to keep fighting it out for the 8 seed every year then trading Bogut for Curry is the right move.

I thought Gordon already said he was exploring free agency, would be no different here.

There are literally two teams in the NBA than value Monta highly. It makes sense that we'd add our names to that list.

This had better be BS. Udoh is horrendous too. This is a lose/lose trade.
