In point of fact watch what he did to Bogut and Bell a few seasons ago. He made them look absolutely ridiculous using one of the most amazing moves I've seen.

Wasn't Kobe drafted, like, 13th? Not sure if this was a segue into the tanking discussion...

Yeah, and John Hammond is gonna find the next Kobe Bryant in the middle of the first round. Good luck with that.

I'm not talking about where they're drafted, I'm talking about the type of player that this team needs, Kobe/Howard/Rose etc

We need to get that guy who is a consensus #1 pick and hope he's Dwight Howard instead of Sam Bowie. John Hammond is not gonna find us any gems.

You like Monta's game, but absolutely despise Jennings.

Go watch some of Monta Ellis' best highlights and then watch Jennings'. You have zero idea what you're talking about when you say I'm trolling.

I have, he's an inefficient chucker just like Jennings. Cool, he makes a few 360 layups, you think those are good shots? Monta Ellis is a Jennings clone.

I want the Bucks as a franchise to get their shot at drafting the next Howard or Kobe. Once you get that guy, you can lure in free agents to help complete your team. Instead our strategy as a franchise seems to be to draft the third wheel first, and then try to fill out the rest of the team by signing a bunch of mediocre players.

The only way this team becomes a free agent destination is if we strike gold like Cleveland did with LeBron, and that's not going to happen if we keep fighting for the 8 seed every season.

We all want that, hell you could probably get that WITH Jennings and Curry. Golden State got a top 5 pick with those two, I don't think it would be that hard. The thing is, you trade the Ersan's, the Dunleavy's, the Delfino's for nothing if you really want to tank and build a team. Those guys are the glue guys that keep you from 20 wins, to say 30 wins. You don't trade a guy like Bogut, who can make a 20 win team a 35-40 win team for absolutely nothing, it's just stupid.

The difference between us is that I see trading Bogut for Curry as trading for nothing, and you apparently don't. If Stephen Curry is good for us, do you think he stays here long term?

If you don't think talented players will stay after their rookie deal, WTF is the point of having a franchise in Milwaukee.

I'm not sure that making Bogut and Bell look ridiculous is the most impressive feat one can accomplish.

Meanwhile we're basically stunned when Jennings can finish at the rack

Once again, as I said...the only way to make this team a place where players want to stay/go is to get a true centerpiece player. Not draft/trade for another Brandon Jennings, or Michael Redd, or Bobby Simmons etc

It will be Depression city if we go from "potential Bogut trade and top 10 pick" to "Monta Ellis and pick around 16". Then it will come full circle when Ilyasova walks.

Was it the same game where Jennings made a mockery out of the Warriors defense?

Its an interesting discussion. Bogut is the best Australian basketball player of all time. I would think under normal circumstances it would be difficult for an Aussie fan to just follow Bogut to the next team after building a 7-year relationship with the Bucks. But this organization has been such a sh*t show I wonder if it might just be a simple transition. No conflicting feelings. A nice clean break if you will. Americans are just curious. Because we're stuck.

Why would that player stay? Paul didn't want to. LeBron didn't. Howard? Bosh?

If you are going to use the logic of "don't trade for good players because they'll leave", you certainly have to believe you can't draft a player and expect him to stay right?

A few sources have said specifically that we are not interested in Monta Ellis. I think Golden State WISHES we were interested since Curry is obviously a better player. The rumors otherwise is just smoke getting blown up our butts.

Ellis is a slighlty better version of Jennings. Liking one and disliking the other is preposterous.

The Bucks arent getting any free agents to sign and they arent going to tank.

Best deal for the Bucks is

Bogut and Jackson
for
Ellis and Lee

Bucks get to experiment with a Jennings and Ellis backcourt for the remaining season and deal him in the summer.

Bucks starting lineup adds some athletic plays who can finish at the rim.

Lee
Gooden
Boute
Ellis
Jennings

Not world beater but should be entertaining.

Here's what Bill Simmons says about Monte Ellis in his Trade Value Column, he's obviously not in the top 50.

Monta Ellis: He's underqualified to be one of the best two guys on a contender and overqualified to become a more polished version of Jason Terry in Dallas (an Irrational Confidence Guy Deluxe). Where does that leave us for someone making $11 million a year? I don't know.

Sure would, 7th seed runs are always more exciting then 8th seed runs.
