Re: Official Speculation Thread (Pt XVIII: Trade Deadline co
I might be the only magic fan thats stoked but thats probably because I made peace with Dwight leaving months ago. I really am excited to see this team play. Those of you who have believed for years that Stan has a set system you are in for a shock. With Players like JJ and Anderson set to be more focal than they ever have been I think we all may be surprised how competitive some games are going to be.
Those who have been crying about seeing players with potential play are going to see it. Book it it will be alot more fun than alot of people are thinking it will be and if we got back Bynum and he stays healthy the results might be even truly shocking (although I know we are far more likely to trade to NJ but who knows?)

No, a player can be traded immediately after he is acquired. However, he can't be packaged with another player

Perhaps the most frustrating day I've had as a fan
That final Monta trade to MIL (what the hell is MIL going to do with Monta?) is like a kick to the groin.

Wait.......didn't he demand out of GSW a few years ago? Which got him sent to Charlotte?
Yes thats why Lacob is such a douchbag..He would rather bring sjax back than help us keep Howard. Although I think Dwight told FO he wasnt going to commit.

I feel that way too. For those of you too young to have go through the shaq fiasco the pain passes. I was mentally prepared for him to be gone anyway.
Shaq leaving, Penny trade, Grant Hills' ankle, T-Mac trade... now Dwight leaving
I think we're all numb to the pain at this point... desensitized... for better or worse

I was too young then, but, I'm fine right now. I know nothing has happened yet, but, if it does, I'm prepared.

Re: Official Speculation Thread (Pt XVIII: Trade Deadline co
i would like to get a look at a lopez/anderson backcourt and then make a decision on their new contracts. also marshon brooks is a stud, 2nd in rookies ppg. if we can bring fran over that would help our depth at c/pf positions. we can move redick for a future pick if we chose if he wants to play for a contender.(we deserve him that) and draft marshall with the nj 1st.
marshall/marshon/beasley/anderson/lopez
its something to start with

Yes, something like that. A fallout of sorts.

You're not the only one. I'll join in also. Peace out Dwight.
