What exactly about Scola "sucks"? Is he a tiny bit overpaid, sure. But he is a 17-8 type guy with starters minutes making $8mil. Not god-awful. Well, he did just say he wanted to stay with the team through the end of the season after months of having a trade request on the table.

If he opts-in, we also have a chance to form our own big three of Ellis (who I know you don't like)/Smith/Howard, this could be really big for us!
