Guys, no way the Knix trade Melo. Dolan loves him. As you see, he chose to please his star and fire the coach. The only reason why D' Antoni isn't coaching anymore is because of Melo.

You guys are freaking out right now. Look at what's been said. Dwight's talked to management, he said he'll sign. He even told teammates he's signing. Just because it's taking long doesn't mean it's not going to happen. I see nothing indicating any different. No serious trades have been reported regarding Howard. Don't you think if Magic knows he would decline they'd have traded him by now? Don't think they'd cut it this close to the wire.

Did nit realize how much Scott let himself go. NBA TV info on Dwight. Says he was playfully in meeting with reporters. Players didn't talk about Dwight's situation.

They were always planning on trading him at the very last second.

The issue here is there is some random source told Woj that he didn't mention "opt-in" and pretty much implied someone confused all-in and opt-in

Salary dump for Wallace I imagine. They would have Rondo and that's it. Offer 2 Max contracts. That's their goal.

If it's not in writing he's gone his agent is a dick and could be using it as a ploy NOT to trade him.
someone on twitter made a great analogy, Businessmen don't gamble, gamblers do, and they go broke.

Him opting in, makes it easier, if he wants a trade, do it in the summer and finish this season. this could all be a game between he and the magic, who blinks first? won't be the magic, they will trade him
