Agreed, too bad Howard probably doesnt fully understand what that means so he just listens to whatever his agent tells him.

Fegan: Dwight, suck this.
Dwight: umm ok!

Grow some balls Dwight, stop changing your mind every 5 minutes. Whatever, I'm already prepared for this, I didn't believed the initial reports of him opting in anyway.

Hmm

I wonder what happened

Dan Fegan happened

During the call, sources said, Howard told the Magic that staying in Orlando is his first choice. But he also made it clear that he was not prepared to relinquish the ETO in his contract that allows him to become a free agent.

"It's unheard of for a player of Dwight's caliber to do so," one source close to the situation told ESPN.com.

When asked why Howard told several teammates and members of the organization earlier in the day that he had indeed decided not to opt out of his contract, the source insisted that Howard "didn't fully understand the ramifications" of surrendering his ETO and did so largely because Magic officials warned him that he would be traded by Thursday's 3 p.m. trading deadline if he did not take that step.

So Fegan (who clearly is the source) explained it as unheard of. In other words, Fegan wouldn't get his cut.

As I said, Dwight's family had him ready to stay, Fegan got to him and switched him out of it.

This is unreal, I just take a nap for a few hours and now I hear Dwight still wants to opt out of his contract and become a free agent but still wants us to keep him for just this season and roll the dice?

**** you Dwight. Us Orlando Magic fans deserve much better than this type of treatment. I cannot wait for this trading deadline to be over and done with. I just hope we have a resolution and we can go on with our lives. The Orlando Magic were here before you Dwight and will be there whether you stay or not. Be careful what you wish for "superstar."

I don't know if Dwight understands the ramifications of what he's done

Literally all of twitter, facebook, etc ... all my friends who are Magic fans, their friends who are Magic fans, and so on and so on... the entire Official and Unofficial Magic pages on social networking sites featuring thousands and millions of people... almost all them heard of his "intentions" of opting-in today... it was spread to news outlets... Dwight is going get major (deserved) heat and backlash from this since he changed his mind again... :nonono: dear lord... when a person cares wayyyyy too much about his image, he ends up doing a lot more harm than good imo.

What a great friend and teammate. So much for him being close to BBD, Meer, and Hedo. Punk!

I hate to say it but a lot of us kept saying earlier not to believe it until he puts pen to paper

Return to Orlando Magic
