I'd keep just to piss Fegan off. I don't want Fegan to win.

It's straight up like the "Denver model" because we will get legit pieces like Lowry, CLee, Morris and we will not pay any max type money for a big man like Bynum or Lopez so soon. We would prolly draft our new bigs instead of taking on the downsides of these centers like Bynum, Lopez which gives us money on max deals before having to extend our drafted bigs.

I know Bynum is an injury risk but have you been watching that 24 year old on the "downside" of his career lately?

I meant downside more as what's negative with these two centers. And yes, I still like the Nj deal if it's their top offer version. I can def be happy with that. I'm sure Dwight will be mad about not cutthroating ORL in the FA but he will ultimately still be with D Will, Morrow, Nets.

Bynum is for a fact, missing 38% of games per season on average since entering the NBA. That's basically 40%. He's also a max, max deal player. Lopez I think rebounds and defends average but with all the negatives around his injury/rebounding, we'd be getting away with paying him 10-12 a year and when he's at his peak, he'd prolly be worth max value locked in at 10-12 instead. I think the offense by him is underrated and the defense/rebounding will pick up. Plus we'd got Brooks, who I see as Crawford-Pierce range with a top 6-10 pick this draft.

Dwight needs to get his dad to be his agent. Wasn't that the report a while back?

Speculation, but how would guys feel about a Dwight Howard trade with the Rockets?

Kyle Lowry, Kevin Martin, Chandler Parsons, Patrick Patterson, Samuel Dalembert, and 2 first round draft picks for Dwight Howard, Hedo Turkoglu, and Chris Duhon.

You guys do realize the events of today were simply a ploy created by Dwight and his handlers (mainly Fegan). If Dwight appeared to really want to commit to the Magic, it would make it much more difficult to trade him. Nothing has changed since last night. Dwight and company want him to finish the year off here and then move to Brroklyn over the summer.

no trade

like I said earlier this morning... I came to the realization that IF Dwight is leaving... it's probably better to let him walk than trade him for Lopez/Brooks (I'd prefer to trade Dwight for a REALLY Great package to a rental team, but that's a pipe-dream). Either way Dwight leaves this team, we're not contending and we're rebuilding... so it makes no real difference imo.

so I agree (to a degree) with you guys... maybe we should go into the summer and see what decision Dwight makes... if he leaves then he'll be hated for years, and honestly I don't believe he will ever win a championship outside of Orlando (just my honest opinion).

and if he stays... great... water under the bridge.

I foresee no trade happening before 3pm anyway.

I've been saying this all year. Everyone around the league likes Jameer. GMs, coaches, players.

If Dwight is that soft we aint winning a championship. I know lots of guys here give the whole "female" situation. Well I am the kinda person who wants I know it's going to be over, time to move on.
