I love Jameer but he hasn't been exactly phenomenal all season.

The Spurs announcers spent a lot of time bashing Dwight before any of this stuff came up, never liked listening to them for that reason. Of course now everybody is bashing him, but I don't mind so much if its warranted and comes from in-house.

Speculation, but how would guys feel about a Dwight Howard trade with the Rockets?

Kyle Lowry, Kevin Martin, Chandler Parsons, Patrick Patterson, Samuel Dalembert, and 2 first round draft picks for Dwight Howard, Hedo Turkoglu, and Chris Duhon.

Definitely don't think Houston gives up all that just for a rental. They'd have nobody else on the team.

like I said earlier this morning... I came to the realization that IF Dwight is leaving... it's probably better to let him walk than trade him for Lopez/Brooks (I'd prefer to trade Dwight for a REALLY Great package to a rental team, but that's a pipe-dream). Either way Dwight leaves this team, we're not contending and we're rebuilding... so it makes no real difference imo.

so I agree (to a degree) with you guys... maybe we should go into the summer and see what decision Dwight makes... if he leaves then he'll be hated for years, and honestly I don't believe he will ever win a championship outside of Orlando (just my honest opinion).

Even if he comes tomorrow and says he changed his mind again, you have to trade him.

Enough is enough, this is getting pathetic, and this team doesn't need someone here who either:

A. Isn't man enough to make his own decisions and stand by them

or

B. Is trying to deceive the team into not trading him, so he gets to go to NJ with everything intact.

Either option, he needs to go. We don't deserve this kind of treatment.

Dwight is going to end up in Brooklyn, the only way to "screw him" is to take all their assets. With a lottery pick and Brooks lopez and marshon they are a championship contender next year, without all that they are a few years away.

You can't trust that Dwight is going to do anything with Fegan around. I think Dwight actually believes Fegan is his boss rather than the other way around.

I think I would be surprised if he signed, but wouldn't be surprised that if he wasn't traded, he ended up staying in Orlando. We all knew from the beginning he was not signing that extension, which is why it was a shock today, but financially, it was never in his best interest.

I will not be surprised if Martins doesn't trade him though.

Will people stop saying that finishing his last year of his contract costs him money. He makes more money by staying that last year than he does in the first year of his new contract. Its signing an extension beyond his current contract where he loses money.

I've been saying this all year. Everyone around the league likes Jameer. GMs, coaches, players.

Jameer is the one Magic player I keep flip flopping on. I loved him the year he was an All-Star and got injured. I loved him the season we had Carter. Last season, when we got Gilbert and didn't even play the guy, is when I started not liking Jameer. I just couldn't see how we were playing him over Gilbert. This season he has been HORRENDOUS up until the All-Star break. Now, he's playing great and I don't want him gone.
