And include this years lotto and additional firsts from Nets.

Leaves us with some good pieces to build around.

Trade all the picks we acquired from NJ to land either Andre Drummond or Harrison Barnes

Ryan Anderson
Kyle Lowery
MarSwag Brooks
Either Andre Drummond or Harrison Barnes
Deandre Liggins

Build around those guys and maybe sign an up and comer to add.

I'll have part XXI ready for you guys late tonight or in the morning (whenever this reaches 100 pages) ... if I had to guess, it will most likely be the final part that will last until 3pm tomorrow. God speed everybody... only 15 hours left... hang in there.

No we would rather have a legit dominant center than a 7 footer who is averaging 3 rebounds a night this year.

Well, he's only played two games this year. If you check the stats, his career average for rebounds is actually higher then Bynums. Lopez was awful last year, for a few reasons. He lost 30 pounds due to mono and he had Humphries snagging everything. Not making any excuses, because a 7 footer should have more then 5 rebounds, but still. In his brief two games this year he looked very good, especially with a 35 pt game against Dallas.

I would rather we built around Bynum than Lopez, obviously.

Exactly, Luke Walton is the biggest clown in the NBA, why "shed" Q and Duhon (I like Q's contract) only to get back a more horrible one in Walton?? Stupid. That being said, ANY deal we make needs to make sure we get back a decent asset or two, and LOTS of capspace for next summer, when we try to make a splash again in the amazing FA pool.

I thought Walton's contract came off the books this year or next year? that's not so bad.

Yup. That's agentspeak imo. Always thought so from the get-go. It allows you to brush off the blame, no matter what occurs. Oh, the "dice" came up an 8? You hit the point? Awesome...I look like the good guy for staying. Oh, the "dice" came up a 7 and you crapped out? Sorry, but you always knew it was a gamble! I never committed!

Shaq was a long time ago, and Dwight being in the western conference is much better than him staying around.

Yeah I rather see him in the west and have to deal with Durant

Hopefully it's better than the Lopez, Wallace, and 2 picks, trade they tried to do earlier.... and I'd check with the Lakers first before I trade with the Nets.

Brooks has to be involved in any deal with the Nets. That kid can flat out score the ball.

There aren't any big trades the Magic can make now that don't involve Dwight. This is what we're going with, so you're either in or you're out. It's not that complicated.

Is he suggesting he'll stay? Well if you want to stay, then just opt in for one more year you efftard. Trying to convince the Magic to "take a chance" is an extremely lame attempt at tricking us into not gutting the Nets.

Take a chance. *scoffs loudly*

Well done.

Where he's playing is secondary to who'd we get back... Bynum will keep us in the hunt as long as he's healthy, Lopez will give us 20pts 3 rebs and a bunch of goofy pictures. And yes, i'd also rather see him in LA than NJ. We'd see him less if he's in the west and we wouldn't have to face him unless both teams make the finals.

Close

Dwight would not go into details of today's ETO deliberations at all. Still hopes the Magic retain him past the deadline

The reason Dwight is saying "roll the dice" is because Devos had said a few week back
during all star game:
"If I was a betting man, I would bet Dwight is going to stay"
