we don't want lopez? A 23 year old center who averages 20+ppg can be easily flipped to a 3rd team. The expiring contracts and marshon brooks puts the nets offer over the top for me.

If we trade him to the lakers i hope we are ready to watch him win multiple championships with kobe and gasol.

i respect that dwight wants NJ and if they can offer a package that can allow us to rebuild we should take it. Get a new GM who can draft and undo otis's mistakes.

I would look into a deal with the Lakers, no trade with the Nets.

No, but Bynum is infinitely better than anything the Nets could offer.

^ Pretty much this guys...who cares what uniform Dwight is in? Bynum will be better for us and we can build around him. Sure he won't be Dwight but we can at least try to sign some FA's to compliment him and build a legit contender.

that's awful. That reminds me of the TMac trade except we don't at least get an allstar back. Why would you trade for a bunch of nobodies? Stars win in this league. Bynum has star talent.

A trade with Bynum would keep us restricted financially with guys like Waltan and Blake. Not to mention Bynum would probably want something close to the max. I would much prefer to put a young entertaining team with loads of potential than watch that little b1tch Bynum. Don't want anymore of those players on this team. Get high character guys who have potential. Whatever you're into tho.

Look, Bynum's a 1 year gamble, if he doesn't turn out to be the franchise player we want, don't resign him. But it looks like he can be if he is given the chance. Otherwise, go ahead with your full fledge re-build, I mean hey, whats 15 years vs. 17 years when comparing the time it would take to get back into contention.

And while I despise the Lakers, what makes the Nets any bit better. They went and courted our player while under contract, its the same damn thing the Lakers did.
